Very helpful! Makes a lot of sense especially the slash to slash feints. One move I’ve been doing with the rapier that got me good, is stab then special. That fake dodge gets em

I am a battleaxe main and have taken your tips on the disguises with the feints. I've been using the feint with my battleaxe where I slash and then look down at the ground and then feint with overhead. I have killed and confused so many doing this. It actually works. I'm going to try to stab trick you were talking about it in the vid later. Thanks for the tips it's much appreciated.

@StridahsAngels yeah man if we were on the battlefield in RL I'd be next to stridah! Sometimes I imagine the movie gamer except with this game as the premise. Would be amazing!

At least on the regular TO lobbies, my most effective swing manipulation with the greatsword is slash into delayed overhead looking up to where I can see only my opponent's head (first person), sometimes I do the same thing twice, but the second time is a heavy overhead which messes up their timing. It has become my ol' reliable.

Great guide. Now we need step by step guide how to perform 360 spins. 😅

I’ve been binging these vids and it’s been great. My level is sort of high but I’m still not a good fighter. I am a good flanker/surprise attacker though. You’d be surprised to know how many people ignore bushes. That’s where I get all my points and can even rack up enough kills to get placed 1-5. Unfortunately as soon as I run into a heavy hitter I get put out rather quickly. Thanks for the vids I hope to get better and fight some of the big dawgs one day.

as far as misdirection goes, i think its better to do it in 1st person, but easier to learn in 3rd person. i also noticed that i turn with my swing more in 1st person, way less in 3rd because it looks like it will hit ppl on the sides. so i guess practice your moves in 1st person then review it in 3rd person.

I know you mostly play in 1st, but would love a video just like this but for third! The visual would help me a lot

You either slash, cancel attack, slash or you slash, block button+slash, and that will enter a feint to alt slash

Nooooooo don't teach them! It's hard enough playing against PC players already. I've got my sensitivity on max and I can't jankify my animations on console anymore 😭
