I am a Muslim and I highly respect Swami. I have progressed in my own faith because of Swami. It’s also so reassuring to see the similarities between Vedanta and Islam and yet people don’t comprehend the commonality of religions. Peace to all and may Swami be blessed for all his good works.

Dear Swami-ji, Your explanation of suffering relating to our personal 'Karmic Tree' that has ignorance as the 'seed' is logical, so we do not realise our True Nature, therefore we continue to suffer in this & future embodiments. ● But If my ORIGINAL NATURE was perfect, what CAUSED me to have this IGNORANCE in my FIRST embodiment? ● It couldn't have been due to any Karmic cause. ●Was it due to the composition of the 3 Gunas in my initial embodiment? ● Surely I had no part or say in that! ●When I realise that I was somehow embodied with these initial flaws of Rajasic & Tamasic tendencies, I may begin to understand how I can justifiably say, "I am not the 'Karta', the Doer! I am FREE of Karma! The movie of Life goes on. I am the calm OBSERVER of Life, ACCEPT good & bad experiences as 'Prasad', all beyond my control! So I feel free at last! ●Perhaps my interpretation or misunderstanding of Karma is an aspect of my Ignorance? 😇

I have had a chance to go on a walk with Swamiji in Central Park early this year. I consider myself to be extremely lucky and to be blessed to have had such an opportunity! I'm taken aback by hearing you describe what I realized yesterday. My realization must be true. I'm thinking, what do I do now? I know that my realization is true.....so that's all there is to do. I'm still having ups and downs from my health issues, which I can deal with, but I haven't had instruction. Do I need a Guru? What should I do? Thanks OM

There certainly are the same truths at the core of the teachings. Swami's teachings have the effect of exposing where Christian dogma and rituals have strayed and deviated from the Truth and been corrupted by greedy human worldly pursuits of wealth, power, pride, etc. If Jesus were to incarnate today, he probably would not be a Christian of any stripe, so far from God have churches strayed.

The union within tantra. A duality. Mediation, yoga, reading and talking. You meditate, you read. You have yoga practice, you are talkative. This is the duality where only one facet of chakra one is present. Fulfilled duality is the quest of chakras. Position six of chakra position one; eternally!!?
