Even though the Tournament of Power is only 48 Earth minutes, you have to think that 80 of the best fighters from 8 different universes are all competing at the same time. You gotta remember though that Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Frieza and the other members of the 7th Universe can move faster then human eye can normally keep up with, therefore they’re all actually moving at way beyond light speed at this time in the series in little time. That’s why every fight is only about 1-2 minutes long every episode, the tournament itself is short in only 48 minutes so all the fighters make up for that time with their incredible speeds.

You, just like lost DB fans do not comprehend what light speed means or is, and none of these characters right here are moving at light speeds, that’s just a big misconception in the fandom, born by exactly that thought process you showed there. ”They move faster than eyes can see, they move faster than light” - no, there is an incredible gap between these two feats lol.

@@grydon6422 not gonna explain something that was pointed out & that’s was literally explained all the way back in the Cell Saga. If you can’t understand how they’re capable of moving faster then the human eye can normally keep up with back then all the way up to Super where every enemy they encounter is faster then Lightspeed then you should not be talking.

@@grydon6422 learn how much the characters grew in power all the way from the Cell Saga and compare them to their TOP arc versions and then come talk to me. Massive difference in power and much more feats since then that easily puts the whole team for universe 7 at light speed or above easy.

This is the 4th recorded time Goku has cried. Let’s say the last time he wept was when he was 15. Roshi’s sleep hypnosis was used in DB.

Only the anime creates a distinction between the 153 episodes of classic Dragon Ball and the latter 291 episodes of Dragon Ball Z. In the original manga, or any other non-tampered variation of the source material, all 519 chapters of Toriyama's manga from 1984 to 1995 are simply titled "Dragon Ball." So realistically, at some point in the story, Toriyama may have just felt that Goku's character did not need to cry anymore, ever.

Actually there is one scene in the manga when Raditz kidnaps Gohan. Goku with eyes closed beats the water. When Roshi tries to warn him not to go after Taditz, Goku angrily refuses. There is a drop of water flying from Goku. Is it a tear? Sweat? spit?

I like how they dont throw experience out the window. All people who have seen dragon ball know that roshi is a very talented and technical fighter and can even outwit opponents stronger then him through experience. He was one of the first to contain gokus great ape form in a 1 on 1 . So yes his experience would work against alot of fighters. Might isnt always right.

​@@mymelancholianot necessarily. If that was the case, Roshi would have destroyed nearly everybody, and Hit having a 1000 years of experience would have beat Jiren, but like Vados said, Jiren's power transcends time.

@@Don-fw3nv I guess she over exaggerated it. What I was saying was that it gives people an advantage. Maybe not trump's but experience gives you a fighting chance and may help you win when rules are involved and the power gap isn't far off.

Also, about the 1 minute per episode thing. Keep in mind that there are things happening at the same time, but they can only show you one battle at a time. In other words, the start of the battle may not necessarily be 1 minute until it's done.

Actually they are showing you different fights which could all be happening at the same time so this fight could have been longer then a min and we were watching 17 in that time if that helps explain it
