Amen! And the thing is whether you do something bad or you do something righteous your kids are going to look up to you so you got to be careful about how you represent yourself in front of your kids! I knew that was important when I was younger but I didn't know how much and I have my first kid at 16 and now he's in his thirties and he's doing really good my daughter the youngest is doing really good my middle son is going back to college he quit for a while and now he's trying to get his s*** together again. Which I never suspected with him his brother my oldest son seen more of my illegal hustling life before I started my construction and real estate businesses. Now my oldest son seem all the b******* I've been through but he also got to see me come up from nothing to having a million and tons of properties. That's one thing I did intentionally do I made sure that I had all my kids by my wife my kids got to grow up under a two parent household which I never did my brother doesn't understand what it's like to not have that my mom and my step dad have been together for 40 years now my brother has had a father there in the house since the beginning I may not have liked him right away because when you're 10 years old and you've been the only man in the house for years it's hard to open up to a new man in your mother's life she dated man but she never brought them home around me. But when she first brought him around we bumped heads like a mother f***** that's why It's hard dating women with young teenage sons especially if they have fathers that have been in their lives and even when they don't because they've got the expectation that you ain't going to be around long anyways. That's why it's important that women who have kids don't just bring every dude around there children because you feel like they should have a man figure of their lives. I'm telling you it's much better if you have no male role model figure in their lives then to have every Tom Dick and Harry in and out of their lives it's better that you have their uncles or cousins then to have men in and out of their lives that your not sure about. Me and my wife ended up getting divorced later on and my kids lives and we were holding it together longer than we probably should have been. But my wife was hoping that I would get my s*** together and stop f****** everything that moved. But when she met me that's how I was so I didn't understand why all of a sudden she had a problem with it. Now that I'm older and single I find myself more willing to date women with kids when before I always said I'd never do it bcuz I didn't have anything to offer in a situation like that or so I thought. Now I know I have something to offer in a situation like that.

The eye contact is huge. It’s so many kids won’t even look you in the eyes these days. And some been through so much their self image is so low they can’t. And some aren’t raised right or whatever. It makes me proud to see his sons look at him that way cuz their father is their hero. And my father is my hero too. I relate for sure.

Start reading to them the moment they are born and be consistent. When I heard on the news that he partnered with Rouses (huge grocery chain in NOLA) , I immediately thought “oh boy, the man has entered the building.” That was a huge move for the culture here locally. He’s definitely a man of his word. Keep penetrating to change the narrative Mr. Miller.
