I also was addicted for 10yrs but Thank God I am 2½ years clean now! It's definitely not easy but it's absolutely worth it! I always say I will never go back to that person & I've had a few ppl tell me not to say "never" but I know for a FACT I will not ever go back to that person bc I know exactly where it will lead me & the destruction & chaos it will cause! #WeDoRecover ❤️‍🩹

2 years ago on July 17 I overdosed my first time using heroine and I remember how I felt before I made a decision that changed my life forever...at the time I was suffering from post-partum depression and I didn't talk about to anyone my son was 2 months old and I just wanted to feel different in that moment...I was selfish and God still sent a angle the very moment I needed her...my mom found me dead and called 911 they were able to save my life... and I know now I have a purpose..... if you are going through something you are not alone and your worth saving..... I've never said this publicly and it feels like I just forgave myself.... I pray that Master P family and friends heal and are able to help someone who is going through the process of life.... call your friends and family and check on them....you never know how much you want to until you can't some day.

No he's holding back his pain it's not yet palpable... He's lying to himself because he glorified drugs and sold drugs to other addicts and help them overdose on a large scale with zero empathy... Listen to how he talks about them in his lyrics... Just uses them for an excessive paycheck ...now, somebody did it to his kid... he has not admitted that part of the cosmic karma that he caused for his own child... No blame no judgment because I have done nothing innocent... I am just saying he does not look like it really sunk in that he did this to so many other people's children when he could have paid his rent by working at Taco Bell. He chose excess and opulence and greed and so did somebody else and it killed his kid...it looks like he's lying to himself ☕

That brotherhood that produced a bond that made me tune into him. It actually wasn’t the music. @@allhandsonsteamdeck1440 I agree with you in the sense of money making it easier from a material needs and necessities perspective or standpoint. But money does not heal a wounded heart or a broken spirit. Only by God's grace over the course of time is that able to be done. Material possessions only satisfy the carnal nature of a person or meet their needs in that way. They can give you temporary happiness, but they eventually fade and cannot completely satisfy the void within. Money won't purchase them a new mother/daughter/sister or eliminate the trauma this man and other family members feel each day for the loss of their loved one.

Think we have some notion. The root cause of the societal mental health problems, drug addiction etc is the system and the structure. But as that's unlikely to change anytime soon all the blame is apportioned upon the addict.

I used to ride around to Master P songs with hooks like "Hustling, selling heroin and cocaine.."..When we're younger, we think it's cool to sell drugs. Like you're some sort of superhero money-getter. Then when you get older, you realize that each and every person you sold drugs to was like Master P's daughter; putting stress on their family. Rest in peace to his daughter..and I'm so happy to see P evolve from rapping about selling drugs being the Ice Cream Man to fighting against substance abuse. It's a beautiful thing to witness.
