Band Maid - No God kzread.info/dash/bejne/oHWYudCCgs2tkc4.html For any female bass players out there I would highly recommend you watch an all female band from Japan called Band Maid. Their bass player Misa aka The Silent Assassin, will make you fall in love with the bass and take your playing to the next level. Band Maid is a hard rock band that mixes rock, metal, pop, punk, funk, and even jazz, to create some of the most fun and energetic rock music you will ever hear. They are without a doubt the best hard rock band today and were on the verge of breaking out around the world but COVID has put a hold on that. So please check them out. You will not regret it!

Don't get frustrated when your fingertips start hurting, after a while you'll build up enough calluses and it won't matter
Please do their live from Seattle 1989 performance of Battery, it’s absolutely amazing and shows Metallica truely in their prime. Spit Out the Bone is also such a good listen to how they are now with music!

I saw them on the '89 tour. Edinburgh, Scotland (where I live). Small 3000 capacity venue. Before the days of volume limits. 2 hours of being repeatedly slammed by a towering wall of monstrous noise! LOVED it!! 🤘
This is from a Metallica “movie” called Through The Never starring Dane DeHaan. It was decent IMO. Obviously not a very deep plot but the accompanying songs and concert were fantastic. The end credits included a chilled Metallica playing Orion. Definitely worth a look/ listen. Great reaction and what a smile!

I wouldn't say better... you can tell they're closing in on 60 nowadays, but still very, very good. Saw them in '89 & '92, in their performing prime. February 12, 1992 still the best show I have seen from any band, all time.
You can never go wrong with live Metallica. Though, if you want the best live version of this song, something from 1989 would probably be best.
Love the bass intro. Also I love the path you’re going down with Metallica. You’ll get a ton of views and push your channel that way. There is a lot of love for Metallica reactions because we are so passionate about the band and love seeing new people getting the experience as well. Look forward to seeing more!
That bass playing was really good for a beginner. Keep it up

Aw thank you!
I'd love to see your reaction to "cliff 'em all, for whom the bell tolls". It's a live show from very early in Metallica's life and it's a great song. RIP Cliff Burton
This was a “ good” performance, this is from their movie. For a GREAT performance you need to go back the Seattle 1989 at their peak. This song is about addiction, and how it will fuck up your life. Instrumentally it thematically follows the lyrics. In the beginning the addict Is craving is drug, during the instrumental interlude, the addiction is high. When it speeds up, the addict sees that the addiction’s promises were empty, but the drug then tells the addict it’s too late … the line “ chop your breakfast of a mirror is a dead giveaway as to the topic.
I happened to stumble across your channel because of your review of “One”. I am a huge Metallica fan, and I think it’s awesome that a young woman who didn’t grow up with Metallica is discovering their music… and loving it!! Your great reactions and energetic enthusiasm for their music is the main reason I subscribed to your channel. Keep the Metallica coming, and let’s go see them live!!! 😆 You would love it!!
Their live performances in the past 3 years have been stellar. The sound quality and intensity has been amazing. On their channel you'll see the" Met around the world" performances.. Truly amazing.
I’ve seen them front row 14 times. I’ve been a Metclub member since 2002. They sent me the Black Album remastered deluxe box a week before it was available to the public. Metallica knows me. I won a Metclub contest in 2003 to see them at the Fillmore in San Francisco with only 400 other people.
I DEFINITELY recommend their 2019 performance of this song in Manchester. It's pouring rain and they give no fucks.
I’ve seen Metallica twice - once in 2000, then in 2017. Both shows were insane!! I highly HIGHLY recommend seeing them the next time they hit the road!!
That's so awesome you have a bass! I've been playing for 20 years. Good luck and have fun! Also please keep those Metallica live reactions coming, they will never ever disappoint
I’ve been lucky to see them live and it was the best concert! Love the reaction! Rock on! 🤘
Seen Metallica more than a dozen times, but the infectious positivity of seeing someone experience your favorite things will never get old.
basically that stage was used for the band's 2012 Full Arsenal Tour. It incorporated/used the crosses from the album cover of "Master Of Puppets" from 1986, Lady Justice from "...And Justice For All" and the 1988-1989 Damaged Justice Tour, the electric chair with the tesla coils from 1984's "Ride The Lightning", the snake pit from 1991-1993 Black Album era, and the destruction scene from the 1996-1997 Poor Touring Me Tour/"Load" era.
I was at this show in Vancouver when they were filming Through The Never. Always amazing show🇨🇦🤘
Pancakes GO!!! That never fails to crack me up.
Saw Metallica in Pittsburgh in 2019 and it was hands down the best concert I’ve ever been to
I've seen Metallica live 5 times - and every show was great. If you were local to me I would take you to every great rock / metal show that comes through town.
This is from a concert film called “Metallica: Through the Never”…awesome!!! The actor plays the role of a roadie who is sent out on a mission during the show. My first Metallica concert was “And Justice for All” in Atlanta, GA and most recently in Charlotte, NC - October 2018…
Master of Puppets is my favorite track in metallica and the 1st and 2nd solo is the first solo i learned in my guitar since i was newbie
I DIED hearing u play enter sandman!!! Amazinggg!! Hugs and hugs from Brazil
Great reaction! You did really great on the bass for never playing before!! Really good, keep playing. God bless.
Yesss please keep us posted on your bass progress 🔥🤘
Metallica live....incredible!! Going to their concert and watching them...PRICELESS!!! I saw them in '91 and again in 2017. With the 20+ year gap, Metallica is basically a fine wine, they continue to get better with age. You MUST go see them before they stop doing live performances....You won't regret it!!!
This movie “Through The Never” was really good. Best part is at the very end when there all sitting around jamming to “Orion” when the kid is by himself in the seats rockin out. Epic!
That stage was nicknamed “the aircraft carrier” dude to its size and shape. I believe it took something like 30 trucks to move it. And at the time it was the largest ever indoor stage. I don’t know if it still is, but it’s very likely it is
I was at the filming of this in Vancouver 2012.... It was amazing with all the stage toys!
PANCAKES GOOOOO completely forgot about that haha
This was taken from Metallica's "Through The Never" movie which was filmed live at Rexall Place, Edmonton, Alberta on August 17 & 18, 2012 and Rogers Arena, Vancouver, British Columbia on August 24, 25 & 27, 2012. Basically the plot is Metallica's roadie Trip, played by Dane DeHann, gets sent out on a mission to grab this bag for the band, but all throughout his mission, all hell breaks loose
Still the best metal song ever written it just has everything you love about heavy metal
Great video, great song. You would be sooo much fun to go to a concert with. You like the rock and you rock as well. Keep on rocking
Seen them several times and they are unbelievable. The best rock band in history. Did know that “ Enter Sandman “ has the most downloaded streams in HISTORY 🔥🤘🏼
Saw Metallica live in Melbourne Australia in 2010. First night I was high up in the stands and the second night I was in the front row. Best concert ever . At the end of the show the band threw a bunch of stuff into the crowd. I ended up catching 3 Guitar Picks 🤘🤘🇦🇺

@@Nichwar19 A lot of picks end up on the ground. Instead of trying to catch them, look on the ground instead. You'd be surprised how many you'll find
so this music video is made up of footage from their movie "Metallica through the never". It was actually shot in Edmonton and Vancouver Canada. If you go back you will notice the security guards around the stage switch from dark colored shirts to Yellow shirts. Yellow shirts are security guards from Edmonton and the dark colored shirts are Vancouver. Only reason I know this is because I was one of the yellow shirts for the Edmonton portion of the filming. By far one of the most memorable shows I have ever worked.
"That set is so freaking cool." Just wait until you see them play ...And Justice For All. It's not as intense as Puppets, but that statue you saw in a couple of quick shots plays a big part. It starts out standing on stage, of course. Then... you're just going to have to watch.
Live in Manchester in the pouring rain that was one great gig 🤘
Saw them live in Ottawa. Fantastic concert.
This was in Vancouver British Columbia where they did the concert and made the video.
OMG I was at the concert this was recorded from!!! Vancouver BC!! They filmed the whole movie here
Love channel......wish could go with to Metallica, even as older guys.....you'll f'n love it!!!!!!! They won't disappoint 👍🤘
I saw them live in Buffalo, NY on their And Justice for All tour in 88
I saw your last reaction of 'one' I'm defo subbing now :)
The video part is from Metallica's movie called "through the never" I think. There was no official video for Master of Puppets or any other song from the first 3 Metallica albums. They didn't make music videos then. The first music video they made was for the song ONE from the And justice for all album.
Your pretty good at bass Shea. I'm a guitar teacher here in Coeur d alene ID. If you lived closer i would teach you. I grew up in the Bay Area in Cali. Met these guys many a time. Seen them live since 84 in SF. Probably a hundred times I've seen them live. So good. Thx for reacting to them. Cant wait to watch. Here we go. .

I'm sure we could do it via internet. Haven't done that yet. You would have to help me with that. That's up to you. This is what i do. Been a music teacher for 20 years now. I see you got a little groove. Like it.
Love your new intrest in reacting to Rock! "For whom the bell tolls" (the opening song on zombieland) is one I'm sure you'll love!!
The Metallica, Kid Rock, Sevendust concert I went to was pretty epic.
Band you should check out just because they're great: Sabaton!
Just in case you want to travel to France next summer, just watch the Hellfest prog! I’ll be there, and can’t wait to be there. It’s just a mix of legends and new generations.
Some one already said it but check out the movie. "Through The Never" it goes between those scenes and their love show. What you just saw was right out of the movie. You'd love that movie, it's a 2hr concert/movie. And yes it was live, these guys sound studio ready, live.
Metallica is by far the best act I have seen live. They are a well oiled machine
Enjoyed the video, especially when your dog barked haha. Check out blackened from Metallica's live in Seattle 1986, really good performance.
I’m 37, I picked up bass when I was about 12 or 13. My first instrument was a bc rich warlock.
Metallica was my last concert before Covid hit…. It was EPIC!!!
I was at this concert in Vancouver, crazy good show, go see Metallica, you won’t regret it!
Hi Carlie! Metallica, San Fran Symphony Live (2020); "Enter Sandman" Awesome mix; orchestra and metal.
I see them next week! I’m so excited!!

Hey shea reply too megadeth holy wars beautiful
If no one has suggested it, Megadeth “Holy Wars” needs to be checked out.
This was from their movie "Metallica Through the Never".
Shredding like a pro!
For Metallica, Blackened & Dyers Eve For an introduction to other metal acts: Megadeth: Hangar 18 Protest the Hero: Bloodmeat Black Sabbath: Into the Void
Master of.puppets with San Francisco orchestra was awesome as well
5:19 He is Malcom from "Malcom in the middle" :)
Megadeth this October in Virginia Beach, that's what you need to see live.
This song live in Manchester is amazing
7 continents, best selling album of all time[nielson], biggest touring act in history most ticket sales, 40 yrs of pure power and domination, #1 band of all time, they play 3hr shows with no opening act and do 3 encores at 60 yrs old now...
Wow well done on the bass playing
10:26 "PANCAKES GOOOO!" LMAO
Easy rule of thumb...if Metallica is playing near you, you go. 🎸👍😁
Seen them 7 times and Iv seen a lot of great bands who join them too🤟
Coffee in the morning is the best cop of coffee love Metallica.....fun intro keep up practicing it from their movie " Through The Never" yes seen them once
As for Metallica songs I don’t think you have reviewed yet I would go with Harvester of Sorrow, Welcome Home (Sanitarium), Sad but True, Seek and Destroy, For whom the Bell Tolls (I think you would get a kick out of the base in that song) , Where Ever I May Roam, The Thing That Should Not Be, and That Was Just Your Life. I would try to find live versions of them if you can. Love your channel by the way I am a new subscriber. Keep up the great work.
you should check out a young band called Liliac. they have their own original albums but started out doing covers. i think Metallica would appreciate Liliacs cover of Master of Puppets their female lead singer sounds like a cross between Ronnie James Dio and janice joplin..you wont regret it.
Now you must witness the 1989 Seattle version. Amazing. Then move on to the Manchester U.K. version (pouring-ass rain). Watching the water geyser off of Lar's snare drum is equally amazing. Right now, this old-timer here has the hots for "Damage Inc.". You want shredding and thrash....? That's the one. Great vid. Liked and sub'd for more!
I want to see metallica with you, your awesome👍👍 keep it up, more, more.
This is from the movie Through The Never, which is a suspense/light horror movie set against a Metallica concert. That is also the largest indoor stage..ever. it's called the aircraft carrier and it takes 40 semi trucks to transport it. Welcome to the world of metallica
I watch metallica live way back in 1993 at Wembley (ya almost 3 decades ago!) & i swear to u they sound exactly the same (if not better now!).. I think this is a recent performance (maybe in 2018-2019).. If u got the time..watch metallica live in manchester-full concert (2019)..where they performed in heavy rain! They are absolutely incredible & amazing! 😊 note: im now a hardcore swiftie but back in the days i was absolutely crazy bout metallica & they remained my favourite metal band for all eternity 😊
Just saying I'm a guitar player so the pick will be towards the pickups but for bass , pick towards where your strings come from (I keep forgetting what its called lol) but amazing reaction as always. Edit : This concert goes to the "Through The Never" (2012) movie that they made. It's good to watch.
All the Metallica Live songs you're doing, now watch the Seattle 1989 Binge N Purge concert. Younger and wilder. Rock on Shea. Love your reactions 🤘👊💯
Keep it up with the playing! \m/ ~guitarist dude
This is from their movie they made called "Through the Never". Its on Netflix i think. Ohh and ill never turn down seeing Metallica live.
I love this so much ! Seems you got really emotional during the solo and if so i don't blame you cuz oof Much later down react to Metallica- Orion. Instrumental but it makes you shed tears in the best kind of way ugh
ive seen metallica 9 times live, come to sweden if you wanna see a show:D
Hey Shea, Check out Metallica “Disposable Heroes” Live in Mexico. The song has been my personal favorite since the early 80’s. I think you’ll like it!
You need to check out 'Creeping Death' in Moscow if you want to see a good live performance. There were around 1 million people in attendance.
" The Thing That Should Not Be " (S&M performance) is in my opinion the best one to see why james is the greatest vocalist in the history. Please react to that one 🥺
There’s a movie on Netflix that Metallica made called through the never, they wanted to make it about a live performance of there’s adding in a background story. You kind of have to decide what it’s about, but anyway, this is a clip from that movie...great reaction btw
After seeing you with the bass I of course though of you as Juke Box Hero by Foreigner 4...lol
You probably recognize Dane Dehaan from being the Green Goblin in The Amazing Spiderman with Andrew Garfield and the movie The Valerian.
That was actually music video had mixed movie clip from "Through The Never"
10:25 "PANCAKES GO!"
badass SHEA
Next Up Should Be “Creeping Death” Back In Moscow 1991, If We’re Tlking About Solos ! 😏😂🤘🏻🔥 Great Reaction! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
I do i would love to take you go see them live!!
Through the Fire and Flames of Dragonforce... Hear that song... 🤘🏽🔥
Just something I choose over the pick I prefer finger picking keep playing love it! 🤘🏼 I seen Em in the late 80s in elementary school and early 90s in middle school and 96/97 highschool and a few times after
