Master of Pharmaceutical Science: mRNA manufacturing

Ғылым және технология

Monash University's new Master of Pharmaceutical Science, which is now open for 2022 applications, will enable students to learn from leading pharmaceutical experts, including the developer of Australia’s first mRNA COVID-19 vaccine candidate, Professor Colin Pouton. Professor Pouton will head up one of the program’s core units focusing on mRNA vaccines.
“In recent months we’ve seen a great deal of momentum in support of mRNA technology, with it now being widely recognised that the breadth of opportunity will go well beyond COVID-19. However, in order to realise the full potential of mRNA for a range of applications, it’s essential that there is a skilled workforce in place to drive it forward,” says Professor Pouton
The Master of Pharmaceutical Science has been designed in consultation with major employers across the pharmaceutical sector, to ensure that the course content aligns with areas in the sector where there are skill gaps.
