It's obvious you haven't been around the decathlon. Mastery of his event is still mastery, it simply takes a little more understanding of the subtleties of the decathlon to appreciate it.

I saw Clay bench more than 400 about 3 or 4 reps then go out and throw the discus without the spin around 130 feet, I was really impressed, but it really really cool seeing him throw the shot put

@DanHour Chris Houston an NFL cornerback for the Detroit Lions is 6'1 178. He runs a 4.3 40 yard dash and benches 460.

@HanzSygnal It makes me laugh that Chris Johnson's video of him running the 40 gets millions of views, yet theres a thousand track athletes that would embaress chris johnson in a race yet nobody knows their name. Everyone flips out when guys get their head to the rim in the NBA dunk contest, yet olympic high jumpers could put there nuts on the rim. It amazes me that bowling has it's own channel, yet track is NEVER on tv aside from NCAA's and the Olympics.

@tala12 Muscle also requires more oxygen and it requires more of it to launch more weight which it adds to the body.

@Euphorium ok i just said that in throwing the ball and jumping also in runing, theres a diffrences in these two, and for does two you need muscle to elevate you body higher, also need muscle to throw the ball farther!!! but thanks for the suggestion!!!

Idk, I think Reid Albergotti deserves a little more credit, he's fitter than most reporters I've seen!

Track and field should get more attention in the US. With proper meet management at the pro level & with proper marketing I could see it becoming somewhat popular.

he touched 10'11" in this video, not 11'1". 11'1" touch at 5'11 would have him at 47" running vert? get out of here..

Why do people compare Clay to Foot Ball Players?!? he's a freaking decathlete... just because he scored the higherst sparq score doesn't mean anything other than he's a Solid Athlete... It doesn't mean he can play in the NFL, it just means he's more Athletically Well Rounded... which is the point of this Video...

@DDeCouto There is a big difference between 5'8 and 5'11 when referring to dunking.
