I never get tired of learning more and more about this powerful tool that is the adjustment curve tool. I remember when I used photoshop for the first time and I kept playing with this tool without having the slightest idea of what I was doing. Thanks to video lessons like this it's always a great opportunity to learn more and more. Thanks Ramirez for another great video. Greetings!

This is a great tutorial, especially the tip at 21:00 regarding the Automatic adjustment feature. I used this to restore some forty year old photos,. This did a PHENOMINAL job on the color restoration. It did exaggerate the contrast. I had to use the curve to adjust that aspect. Too bad Lightroom does not have a similar feature. Jesus, thank you very much.

I love the channel!!! You are amazing. I am extremely new to photoshop. I work in an engineering office and have been tasked with learning Photoshop. We have scans of large (24x36) engineering drawings and wiring diagrams and I would love some tips for working with these types of files. Most of them were hand-drawn and it is difficult because there is hand lettering on them. I would be more than happy to provide an example or two. Could you do a video, or at least point me to some tutorials for this type of Photoshop work?

Jesus, love your tutorials, you took me from a noob to a good photo shopper. I manually colorize old photos by hand using color layers, often hundreds of them. When I go to print them the colors are often different, there’s a loss of detail, and the picture just doesn’t look like what I see on either of my two monitors. Do you have any tricks for printing that get me close to what’s on the screen? If it matters, I use an Epson 4750 printer and printing regular photos from other apps isn’t a problem. Thanks.

often with color issues like that you are describing, check out the color profiles you are working with, i really assume thats the reason why the colors on the prints is way off, icc color profiles are quite a huge topic and can have a huge impact on the output. you should try out a few different combinations of color profiles when you convert your final edited images from RGB to CMYK or printing. good luck mate!
