Yehudi Menuhin actually sponsored Bobby Chen, a Malaysian pianist to study in his school when his family suffered financial difficulties big time. Yehudi has eyes for talent irregardless of races.

Very fortunate few who witnessed and experienced what it was like being around the master. RIP Mr. Menuhin.

Yes God is Light, and Maestro Menuhin is enlightening . So are his talented students. Not just technique, but real music .

Corey was an astonishing talent then and he remains an astonishing talent today.

The separation of his left hand and neck is actually incorrect. Even sir Menuhin himself doesn't play like that. I have no clue why he taught that. If you watch all the great violinists, they hold the violin in their left hand. However, I am not promoting squeezing of the thumb
