+HaFannyHa Not such a "mensch" according to his children: a very complicated, remote person, whose emotional attachment to mankind far exceeded his emotional response to individuals, including his wife and children.

Menuhin--too bright, too deep, too caring for his own good. Greatest violin talent of the 20th century.

I like all the crowd shots during the class. especially the ones of kids falling asleep.

Sir Yehudi Menuhin's great. Too bad he is gone, the world has become poorer.

Menuhin was able to get away from his parents and Guila Bustabo was not. Magnificent artist he was.

Menuhin makes even "One small potato, please" sound majestic :-)

Yes, there seems to be some people who don't really practice, at least not deconstructed elements, scales and exercises. Their brains just know what to do.
