    The Kasparov bishop trap was easier to see for me than the trap you had in this game, it's crazy that he missed it and lost because of that

    @@mikecantreed yeah, besides the critical move. But i think that having a tough move to calculate in a game is the desirable thing in rapid. Much more than an annoying endgame

    I'm an 1100 and for lower elo things felt quite feasible to me lol but now I finally understand the gap in skill and calculation power. Nice video btw thanks Danya

    As Dana mentioned at 25:20 Rxe2+ is the best move by Lc0. The line goes like the following: 1. ..Rxe2+ 2. Kxe2 d6 3. Ne3 Nc6 4. c3 Be6 5. Qf3 Qg6 6. h4 Re8 7. Kf1 f5 8. hxg5 hxg5 9. Nd5 f4 10. Bxf4 gxf4 11. Nxf4 Qg4 12. Qxg4+ Bxg4 13. f3 Rf8 14. b4 Bb6 15. Nd5 Be6 16. Nxb6 axb6 17. Kf2 Kg7 18. Rh4 Ne5 19. a4 Ra8 20. Rah1 Bf5 21. b5 Bc2 22. Ra1 In this position, Black is very much winning.

    As an avid Stafford enjoyer I swear to f-king god that it happens to me all the time too... I always try to force it with Bc5 but they do some boring stuff and it transposes into some sort of standard position a few moves later

    At 9:47 is it not good to take with queen because after queen takes bishop takes the white bishop is under attack from the rook so the immediate threat of black bishop taking pawn is negated?

    I put it in to the engine and bishop takes is better (think it was like -2.6 if bishop takes and -1.9 if queen takes) I forgot that after queen takes queen the white bishop can take instead of the rook so there is no apparent advantage and as Daniel said he can grab a free pawn

    You can recapture the queen with the bishop so the bishop is safe

    After Be3, Danya can play Re8 to attack e4 - the defending moves Bd3, f3, and Qf3 all allow d5! and white is under a ton of pressure.
