I think this is my favorite elo to watch. No obvious blunders by the opponent (with the exception of a poor opening idea) and just good understandable, methodical, and instructive play, but not such a high level that the tactics are beyond a lower-level player's grasp. Great content as always!

This was my favorite game so far; Kxd7 was mindblowing, and then the buildup against the d pawn and slow positional crush was very satisfying. Want to see the analysis!

I usually pride myself on guessing moves/lines right as or before Danya plays them, but I don't think I'm alone in not even considering Kxd7 with the idea of Kc6 to follow. I probably would've taken with the rook, controlling the file and preparing to double rooks after I developed the dark square bishop. Weirdly enough, stockfish seems to prefer taking with the bishop (but it also doesn't like the Nd7 move offering the knight trade, preferring instead Nh5 to kick the knight away one move later with f6.) To me, it was abundantly clear how strong the king on c6 made the position for black, defending a well-placed pawn that limited white's counterplay, without ever being in danger of much more than an empty pawn check that was quickly captured back. Excellent and illustrative game!

@@PROJECTJoza100 It depends on what time control you are talking about. He is a Super GM at really fast time controls. And in classical, he is a very strong GM: GM starts at 2500. His current rating (from Wikipedia) is 2623, with a peak at 2647. The boundary for Super GM is today taken to be 2700, so he's closer to that than to GM. Anyway, given that these are 10 minute games, I would think he likely is Super GM in the 10 minute format. (But it's a very uncommon format at higher levels.) Anyway, here is an 80 game fast time-format match against Magnus where Danya wins half the games. kzread.info/dash/bejne/X5un0st_cbXXpNI.html Even if Magnus was having a bad day, Danya's has to be in Super GM land in that time format to achieve such a thing.
