There is a protocol in Halo lore in case a Spartan gets infected by the Flood, likely put into place after specialized Spartan fireteams to combat the Flood were put into place. Basically, the area is nuked like two times and then lit on fire. The UNSC really doesn't want to take any chances.

When Spartans are infected a code name is broadcasted through the unsc comms “code name corruptor” allowing for use of nukes and stuff

@@rddragonman not really. ODSTs usually had color variations to represent the different teams they were a part of. Primarily black yeah, but even still, you're missing the point of what I was saying. The guy probably hasnt played a halo game in years, so remembering the difference between the Assault Rifle and the Battle Rifle isnt always such an evident thing. My point being halo fans are losers more often than not, and criticize anyone for even slightly disrespecting the lore of the universe

@@brayden6876 yeah, no. It's very simple. It's not hard to differentiate what are arguably the two most famous weapons in the game. Also the odst's in halo 3:odst all had different armors, but no one is expecting you to give the ones in tabs names and designations. The odst's you run into as chief are generally uniform and have one thing in common, mostly if not entirely black armor. It really isn't that big of a deal, people are just pointing out he's talking like he's this big halo fan and yet he's making very basic mistakes. But yeah, they're losers, not the guy white knighting for a youtuber who's getting extremely mild backlash (moreso mild teasing) for making very basic mistakes on a franchise he's talking like he's a big fan of.

@@kysnowgamer6073 also the armor training and odst are purely voluntary While the 2nd gen spartans like chief were kidnapped and brutally mentally indoctrinated at a yound age ODSTs get drug enhancements but those are mainly things to keep them going like adrenaline boosters and Other Drugs to make it so they need less food and sleep Odst were usually sent as backup or to accomplish some secondary goal Spartans were sent to save the day, high-level assassinations, and more vital mission

The moment I learned about ODSTs in Halo lore I fell in love with the concept. It was just so cool. Their flaming skull emblem, their nickname being Helljumpers, their pods, their visor complexity, and their multipurpose trait. They all have a separate purpose in the team. On top of this the game ODST featured stealth advantages which was awesome. It was all just so cool

Hey Baron, could you pls add flags and a ravenfield mod, so that whenever units die, they respawn instead of dying forever unless they fell off the map. Could you upgrade the Halo drop pods, so that it will shake the ground when one lands, killing any units nearby, and that it will detonate a few seconds after it's passenger get away, to destroy armies it accidentally lands on. And could you add a mod that makes all the units fight each other. Finally, since I love Starcraft and since you play it, could you make a Starcraft mod, but it might be the hardest mod for you to make. If you manage, then you would be able to do anything afterwards and I would be very pleased.

The pistols and Halo 1 are unbelievably overpowered Halo Infinite brought back the overpowered pistols
