Halo 3 ODST is my favorite campaign by far. I love the ambience of Mombasa Streets and the ending was pretty satisfying imo.

Fun Fact: it's pronounced "Covenant" not "Con-venent" Halo was originally an rts that was a sci-fi version of bungie's previous game "Myth". They then decided to make it a third person shooter that was for "ONLY MAC", Microsoft bought bungie and had them make it into an fps for the Xbox Halo 2 was surprisingly not received super well at release because of the arbiter take up screen time from the masterchief The deal for bungie to go independent was to make 2 more halo games, and give the rights of the franchise to Microsoft Halo CE Anniversary was badly received because of how much the "better graphics" deviated from the original art style of Combat Evolved Halo MCC released with only 1, 2, 3, and 4, and all of the games were so badly broken that they were unplayable. All of the major bugs were fixed and ODST was added shortly after as a sort of apology for how horrible the launch was, the game was then neglected for 4 years until it got a gigantic overhaul in 2018 that fixed and enhanced everything, Halo reach was added in late 2019, and all the games were released in order 1 by 1 to PC Halo 5 and Spartan strike were both 2015, not 2014, it's pronounced "Osiris" not "Oseeris". Halo 5's reception was mixed across the board, not just the campaign Halo wars 2 was received fairly well mostly thanks to fixing the art style Halo Infinite is not "the third chapter in the reclaimmer saga", it's a soft reboot and new starting point Why do these channels have to not only try to ride off the hype of highly anticipated games, but then get alot of the info wrong? i read that halo comics from the library after Halo 3 released. So yes it was created by Marvel Comic.

I was always a PC gamer. When I played Halo combat evolved and discovered what the game was really about. It was amazing. Especially that part when you never expected another enemy other than the Covenant. It got me out of my seat!

reach was the first 360 game i ever played, definitely holds a special place in my heart

@@ABoxIsMyHome Fun fact: People loved Halo 2 so much, that when Bungie announced they were turning off the Halo 2 multiplayer servers in April 2010, people rushed to servers to play a few more times. The community then came up with the idea to stay as long as possible in matchmaking, even getting Bungie to push the server shutoff date to May. The Noble 14 were the last 14 players online on Halo 2 before they shut down the Online servers down. They each were disconnected one by one until there was no one left. Bungie thought it was so honorable, they nicknamed those 14 players “Noble 14” and gave them Beta passes to Halo Reach. It’s a pretty cool story.

The fact that Halo was born one year after I was born says so much about how I grew up with this continuously unfathomable and incredibly breathtaking franchise. No words can describe how lucky I am for being born in the right generation to experience what I loved most about Halo, not just as a game but as a story for many generations to experience. 20 Years of Halo is an astonishingly poetic journey and it's a story worth living.

Halo was born a few months after me. But I disagree a bit tbh, that wasn’t the “right generation” for it. If anything it’d be better to actually be able to play video games since the initial release. Me and you were infants, we never got to experience the infancy of the game franchise in totality.

All of that Halo CE footage really brings me back to being 5 years old and playing it on my XBOX for the first time, I'd play the same level over and over again just to be able to drive a car and I never got bored.

Best time line description I have seen of Halo. Really helps a Halo newbie understand it better.

ODST and Reach are my favorite Halo games! I'm so excited to try Infinite.

Halo CE was truly groundbreaking at it's release. From it's mechanics, AI, story, it was ahead of it's time. Coming from Goldeneye N64 as the best shooter for years, then CE.. there was no comparison between the two. It's easy to see why Halo was so successful and the formula that made it so great is the core of every FPS today.

Halo will always be my favorite and why I’ve stuck with Xbox for so long. My favorite was Halo CE. When it first came out, I wanted to get it, and I loved it. Now, I have the Master Chief collection and I love the remastered Halo CE better than the OG version.

Fun Fact: Did you know that in that time, the character Cortana was made as a Windows 10 Assistant since between 2015 - 2016

You got multiple facts wrong here, namely the dates of release. Spartan Assault was released in 2013. Spartan Strike was released in 2015, as was Halo 5 Guardians. And the MCC did not launch with all six games, it was originally intended to be a compilation of Master Chief's stories (which you yourself stated but for some reason included Reach and ODST as if they were in the initial release) which only meant Halos CE-4. ODST and Reach were added in more recently.

My goodness, I sure am old. It feels like it was just only yesterday I was playing Halo Combat Evolved. Halo 2 will always have a special place in my heart.

When i just started to play Halo 4 after Halo 3, i was so damn happy that they made so much awesome graphic in 2012.

Little nitpick: I'm pretty sure the wrong box art is used for Halo 4 throughout the video. Other than that, great video!

Nice you mentioned the top down shooters and Halo Wars 1 and 2. I can forgive the couple of small mistakes you made in relation to original inclusions with MCC however you didn’t mention Halo anniversary was playable in 3D with a compatible tv as well. This is the way I first experienced this remake. It was brilliant for the time in 3D.

I've got 2 things to say... 1. No doubt that my favorite Halo game of all time is Halo 3. 2: Fun fact: Did you guys know that the halo devs hated the idea of Halo, and were close to "cancel" the idea?

An incredible series of games. Absolutely phenomenal.

CE was my first in depth experience with a FPS and it was love at first sight. It was revolutionary. I had played quake and goldeneye before it but not nearly as much. Halo was just better. Halo 2 was great, but Halo 3 was peak gaming

7:53 Halo 3: ODST didn’t come with multiplayer modes, the physical box came with a separate Halo 3 multiplayer disc called Halo 3: Mythic and contained Halo 3’s multiplayer with all of its released maps. The footage you included is also from MCC, not the original Halo 3.

Best Halo game: Halo 3 And yes, Halo Infinite looks amazing

@@JBat-Gaming None if it was good. Halo 5 has better graphics, every other Halo (except 4 and 5) has a better story and gameplay. Most of them came out over a decade ago

Halo Combat Evolved proves that console FPS games can be amazing Halo 2 proves that online gaming and MLG can be fun Halo 3 proves that endings to a gaming trilogy can be spectacular Halo 3 ODST proves that a game can be really good without Master Chief Halo Reach ...... exists Halo 4 & 5 proves that you can nearly murder a franchise with just two games Halo Infinite proves that Halo can go back to its original roots

Fun Fact : The author of Halo the Fall Of Reach book ( Eric Nylund ) created Master chief real name ( John 117 ) and Bungie agree that name but they realize NPC say that name too much and sound not like a hero so that why they choosing the name Master Chief ( and his real name keep it ).
