First time playing Halo 2: November 24, 2004. First played campaign and got up to The Arbiter. Then after I finished The Arbiter, I got to my first match. I was 12-4 that day. Primarily rocked the Battle Rifle, the Shotgun, and the Energy Sword. That very match was in Lockout.

See? They can easily make a Halo movie with this type of quality at their disposal

The beginning of Halo 1 takes place immediately after the ship escapes Reach. The original game manual talks about it, and the novel "the fall of reach" was released at the same time Halo 1 was. Reach was a very recent event during the time of Halo 2, and it's mentioned all over, way before it had its own game.

And people really have the nerve to compare him to noble 6, chief is just on a whole different level. Most people claim luck, but I like that one quote “luck is simply when preparation meets opportunity” Chief is confident, prepared and decisive. Maybe there’s a dash of luck or divine guidance but we can all agree Chief is the best Spartan there is.

Blur studio did a fantastic job.

I love how they cleaned up the little details in these. They added to the scenes that bungie didn’t have time or resources to do themselves. It’s amazing how far we’ve come in technology and animation

It's nearly 1:30 in the morning and I've now watched all Halo 2's remastered cutscenes... Blur studios, I will regret my stupid choices tomorrow, but now - thank you. Halo was the first shooter I ever played and I beat the first 3 games dozens of times. The nostalgia and memories this brings back are unbelievable. It's been years since I had anything to do with Halo and could still quote most the lines. Thank you for your beautiful work on one of the most epic and unforgettable games of all time. What if someone hooked an xbox up to a movie theater projector and played on one of the movie screens

Two of the best lines: *chief slams against the spaceship* "For a brick, he flew pretty good!" and when the Arbiter just basically tells the vastly ancient, incredibly intelligent, and probably the most dangerous lifeform in the galaxy that also survived the combined efforts of the whole Forerunner race, that he can basically piss off.

"This is not your grave, but you are welcome in it." Fuck. This game is oozing with great dialogue, but the Gravemind is fucking swimming in it.
