Next time don't buy clothes you cannot try. Try all your clothes before buying. Also don't buy trendy items. Buy things that are long lasting! =)

I know what you mean, just start with small amounts, do little bits of decluttering each day and it should get easier day by day. Or you might want to read the book by Marie Kondo, it helped me be more ok with letting go

I did this once but really regretted it. Some pieces you don’t wear often, but when you buy something that goes with it really well you’ll regret throwing it away!

Did u get those clothes for urself to begin with or has it been a while since u purged.....too tight, too big, too short, I'd never wear this, I dont like white....its like they were never ur clothes in the first place.

oh I definitely have that exact line repeating in my head haha! what helps me is that I next think who this piece would look good on, which helps me declutter it and pass on to friends & family who would actually wear it :)

Have you considered tailoring loose fitting items? I think it's a real waste throwing them out. Decluttering is also about savouring things and making alterations rather than just simply chucking things out.

Wow so much things you bought but rarely wear, but you let go of them easily, bravo;) Maybe you’ll get better at not buying things you won’t wear? I sure did after decluttering my closet. Nowadays I stop myself from buying clothes I like the material & fit but the color is somehing I wouldn’t wear. Bit by bit I’m also getting better at seeing without trying it on if the shape/design would fit me. Less impulse, better knowledge on what I allready have & what I need. Especially when the price is low, to think for some extra seconds.

I live in the tropics too but I love jumpers! I have too many considering I can't where them where I live- same with jeans. I keep thinking I might where them if I travel somewhere cold but I dunno… sort of inspired to donate them now. I can do a 'holiday shop'- maybe just hold onto one 'warm' outfit and then buy stuff at the destination. :/ hard to know. Too much stuff for 'just in case.'

I have another closet where I keep my coats and jumpers, I find that they get lost among the normal clothes if I keep them in my main wardrobe, then I'm unable to keep track of the numbers and end up with 20 jumpers for a 'possible 5 days cold holiday'. I read your other comment about moving to sydney, there are op shops in australia and I loved them (if you're ok with thrift shopping). It's good for sustainable fashion but I also wouldn't recommend you donating all right now as sydney gets cold weather :)

I'm slowly filming haul videos then putting those pieces into my bedroom wardrobe, then see which pieces I want to keep as I have boxes of clothes waiting for me to go through. Some of the haul videos were recorded but only edited weeks after when I have time :)

To get rid of the 'fuzzy balls' you can just "shave" the garment with a razor. I do that with sweaters a lot:)
