Platinum is one of the top most expensive metals along with gold, but still much more expensive than the latter. You didn't mention it, but the also much-more-expensive white gold doesn't actually exist, jewelry allegedly made from it is actually just rhodium-plated "regular" gold. And I believe it's possible to ask for a piece of jewellery to be plated with it to tackle an allergy to gold, and it's comparatively inexpensive. Years ago I read about someone saying they were quoted around $20 for plating a ring with rhodium also due to metal allergy. The jewellers you bought your rings from would probably be able to tell you way more about it and other options. Good luck to you guys, it's such a shame to get a reaction from your wedding ring :(

Alexandria, try titanium wedding rings as a replacement for husband. They're cheaper and if you get a decent grade of them they're super hard wearing.

I replaced my husband's gold wedding ring with a titanium one from Zales. It was super affordable, and they have some really great designs. Bonus, titanium is safer for mechanics to wear.

I think my fave box was the AIA Beauty Box. Although I do think it’s not the best value for the money. I just liked what came in it the most. Your make up look turned out nice! Stunning with the greens 🎉 take care and keep on shining! 💖💗💫⭐️

I agree! And that's is what we pay for when we subscribe to subscription boxes. Unless it is like a store Subscription box, like Walgreens, Target, Walmart ect. If I want drugstore make-up I will buy it when I go to the grocery store. 💜🤗

Alexandria, I thought you might find this interesting. I contacted Ipsy last month and said that their bag that was supposed to “match “what I like, was so far off and all I got was samples! Long story short, I sent them an email about how upset I am that they raise prices and give us less and worse products after the fact. They thought that a good way to remedy my frustration was to send me a special gift. Emphasis on special. I received the “special “ gift yesterday which was free so there’s that. But it was a sample size of Saint Tropez hair oil… and I mean a thimble size sample. That was my special gift. I thought you may get a kick out of this because I sure did.. ☠️ 💋

When she second guessed herself but it does say Dayysi. 😂 I feel that today.

Aww, I love this colorful look on you! I think a lot of people are intimidated by intense colors but when it's all done, they actually look way better than you expect and the adventure is kind of fun... at least that's always my experience. I try to push myself to use the brighter side of the color palette, especially on the weekend. I've gotten to where I can push myself out of my comfort zone from time to time and usually with good results. I always get compliments when I do the unexpected colors.

That colourful palette looked so pretty! And it was kinda nice to see you putting on some fun, crazy makeup! Lord knows Ipsy hasn't sent you anything like that in ages...

The obsession with gold wedding rings is much like the overabundance of rose perfume in high-end beauty products. Alternate ring metals: Stainless steel is sturdy and hypoallergenic. It can be carved with complex patterns while still being affordable. Titanium Carbide is an extremely strong ceramic material that's black, but can be coated in any color, pattern, or texture. Plus, it's lightweight and not cold to the touch so it's easier to wear for those with sensory issues.

I used the liquid highlight all over under my foundation and it looked amazing. I also used the pinkest toned lip as blush and it also looked amazing. I did discover VERY quickly not to do a full swipe on upper and lower lip with these as they are extremely pigmented like you said. Lol

you should try occasionally live streaming unboxings to get through all the boxes piled up a bit faster. maybe on youtube or on twitch. we'd love it.

Have y'all considered a silicone band? My sister got one for their wedding ring and got me one for being their person of honor because we're both sensitive and they're fantastic!

I love the EyeScream box and can’t wait to get mine in. I so excited to get that palette and the lipsticks. Love the green look. I love wearing greens, purples and blues, so that palette is right up my alley. Keep up with these videos, cuz I love them and you.

I got a random fun fact about bananas.. did you know that the "laffy taffy" banana scent most of us know very well, that scent is actually what the "original bananas smelled/tasted like. Modern day bananas are genetically modified to look like the ones we recognize because those are edible whereas the original ones pretty much couldnt be eaten

Your wedding band story reminds me of the ring I originally bought for my husband (it is awesome, made of palladium) but I bought that 17 years ago now, back when palladium wasn't as expensive as it is now, so when we looked at getting it resized the re-sizing would have cost more than the ring did originally. so last year when we were figuring out what to do for our 15th anniversary we had matching rings made (out of sterling silver) they look great, and were VERY inexpensive.

I had it on the bathroom sink vanity and a cat knocked the plant over next to it and after that we could not find it. Checked the vent, checked the sink drain, and even the toilet. A few years ago when we replaced the toilet and I even dismantled the toilet insides looking for it. Never did find it. And congratulations!!!

I love the watching you unboxing subscription boxes. There always my favorite to watch. For wedding bands, I would go with tungsten and the silicone wedding bands. I got my husband both of the ones I suggest to you. The silicone one he has Iron Man on it. And tungsten last a long too. And both of them are affordable too.

If you are not aware, Look Fantastic and Glossybox are noted both owned by The Hut Group. The bought Glossybox a couple years ago. Sometimes I see duplicates in each box in one month. I do prefer Look Fantastic. They are more skin care heavy and have British and European product. The Monu yoga bath is excellent. Im sure the serum will be good.

Platinum is a heavier metal than gold and everything is prived on weight, hence the price differential. Also, any repairs (such as resizing) cost more because it’s a harder (due to weight) and requires higher temperatures if heat is used. I love platinum vs. white gold, which is gold coated with rhodium, and needs to be re-plated with rhodium as the it will eventually wear wear off, especially if the piece of jewellry is worn on a daily basis. Hope this helps.

Ulta employee here. All the Becca stuff that Smashbox sells (at least with us) says Smashbox ❤️s Becca clearly on the packaging so customers know what theiy’re getting and it’s only the eye brighteners and Champagne Pop. So maybe we’re in KVD/Kat iffy territory with that stuff.

I just thought I would make a comment about the ring because several members of my family including myself have metal sensitivities and the things that we can wear unless we're super sensitive but like I can wear stainless steel surgical steel I do okay with 925 sterling silver and most gold alloys but obviously he's sensitive to something That was added to the gold while making it an alloy because if you made a ring out of solid gold it would just wear out and bend like crazy . Okay that was it My two cents is maybe consider something that is hypoallergenic like surgical steel or even I think titanium falls out of that category for most of the people I know who have metal sensitivity.
