Because they stick with their faith in God Almighty and they are kind and generous people even you hungry don't have food the turks will feed you if you ask them and they also kind to the animals especially the cats they are treat like Kings and Queens.

Sweet Turkish people, very hospitable and sophisticated cuisine.... that tastes insane. Unlike some other cuisine that only looks good.
I've always wanted to visit Turkey and just experience the culture and the cuisine. Beautiful food and beautiful people!

What culture most of them are Byzantine Muslims from Greek stock and Anatolian, if you want to see real Turks you need to go in the stepes of central Asia

I'm in Canada with a next door neighbour and she would visit for coffee a bring plate of Turkish Delight. I never got used to it but didn't to hurt her feelings. The smell of Rose perfume and tasted like rose too. The kids liked it thank goodness.

Very exciting episode, I seem to be watching a TLC channel show! Turkish breakfast is so rich, it’s a blessing to have so many dishes at once, I’m drawn to that corn cheese mash! Turkish candys and desserts are famous all over the world, it's great to see how they are made! I was attracted to that guava flavor, it looks so pretty! The mussel rice and yogurt dumplings look delicious too! You did a really great job, thanks a lot for sharing！👍😄👏

This is basicly an everyday breakfast in a turkish household as well in my family home. It tooks hours somedays to make it more special and ready espcially when we all gather. The only problem is gaining calories if you do not really try to limit;)

In Turkiye, the most important meal is breakfast. People don't have it everyday, they tend to have a fast breakfast with some toast, sandwich... but they try to prepare a good breakfast for their children before the school. Also want to have a good breakfast at the weekends when all of the family members were together...

As a turkish foodie from istanbul i can approve most of places he went myself from experience.
Got a box Turkish Delight from Haci Bekir.. it was lot better than expected Turkish chocolates are really good too but doesn’t get much exposure… Godiva is currently own by a Turkish company.. fantastic prices compared other parts in the world

What a gr8 idea to make some of the foods available online. when i saw that i went straight to the website. However, stuff and honey and cheese have import restrictions in some countries. like here in Trinidad and Tobago. But I will at some of their gourmet products. I hope you continue so we could have access to some delightful foods. This episode was fantastic. enjoyed it very much!

Hi Luke, thank you for your informative videos about Turkey, it's really great to see the country I live in through your eyes :) By the way, the 'ı' in 'kahvaltı' and 'mantı' is pronounced like 'uh', so 'kah-val-tuh' and 'man-tuh'. And Ş is pronounced like 'sh' and Ç like 'ch', so Paçacı Şemsi is 'Pah-cha-juh Shem-see'. Thanks again, I look forward to your future videos.
