MASSIVE TIRES + Toyota Body ='s a MONSTER TRUCK! MOA in the Backyard Scale Park | RC ADVENTURES
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
This is my now "vintage" Axial XR10. Discontinued several years ago.. I keep this this truck close by in my shop - for any time people want to have an MOA Competition. What is an MOA?! It is a "Motor on Axle" setup. Whereas, the vehicle has 2 electric drive motors, one per axle. There is a transmission mounted right on the axle, and gets power from a Dual ESC setup. The ESC is a "heart" for lack of a better term - and controls the power to each motor. By controlling these individual motors - I can create pivot points, and "anchor points" as I demonstrated in this film. There are many advantages including overdriving, and under-driving individual axles. This entire crawler is powered by a 3s, 11.1v lipo battery. I am using a futaba transmitter and receiver for a radio setup.
When in doubt, throttle out!

WOW ! I have seen a lot of capable crawlers which pretty much were never really challenged to go beyond their engineering, but in over 40yrs of " rc-ing" I have never seen such a course which brought out not every strength of the RC, but was also demonstrated to have capabilities not even thought to be possible because of the unbelievable skills of the operator! It was almost like " man & machine were one"...you willed it & the machine did the unthinkable. I would think any manufacturer who wanted to promote their crawler rc's would contact you in a heartbeat to demonstrate the product , but would employ you to travel around the country to the trade shows giving seminars of the skills shown in this KZread clip!! In my 72 years, I have never seen a better product promotion or demonstration of teaching methods to wring out the pros & cons of a product!! I wish you the best & thank you for a truly eye-opening video.

Why are the rear tires spinning faster than the front one?
Nice different ramps. Thanks for sharing your video
It reminds me of a spider as well. What a cool crawler for sure. It looks like it can get over anything. Awesome !!!
I love watching how the different drivers and different vehicles tackle your backyard crawler course

Crazy truck and cool location! Thumbs up!
If you look close, that's a custom jeep comanche body on that red Monster. I've got a brand new '72 Chevy LOB that would fit perfect on that beast!

Hello how come you haven't been doing any large scale rc ? Is it your back? Also would like to see same course done with same rc but with the proper body fitted . It is an amazing rc but looks to out of proportion with that body. Love your work thank you . Look forward to your vids 👍

I don't have the money for RC so I live through your videos thanks for all the great content
Lots of MOA content lately! I still love MOA honestly. You cannot beat the center of gravity advantages when having your heavy motors right on the axles! Not to mention a digg setup is more simple, and not having to deal with drive-line interfering with the chassis and links opens up a huge world of possibilities for custom builds!

Don’t need less torque but different gearing and the most RPM possible. More torque is always welcome, just ask someone with a 1:1 full scale muscle car.
Love it !!!
In RC spark we trust..!!!😍😍😍
Great vid like all what you doing! Sorry for my bad English... What is the setting for this MOA? Transmiter, receiver, ESC? I'm new in this RC madness, but I wrealy like, and I want to make one from different parts..and you are my primary inspiration for all what you doing, and how you doing.... Have you ever thought about buying the wpl toys rc trucks? They are toy grade but are so cheap and have tons of potential and great aftermarket support. They are great for a beginner rc enthusiast and modifier cause they deffinately suck at going up hills out of the box. But at 35$ US. I can’t complain. Give em a shot Medic.
GOOD VIDEO
