Massive Steam Boiler! Running HVAC Calls Out Of A U-Haul | Commercial Steam Boiler Service
Come along on a commercial steam boiler service in Vermont! We had to adapt and run some calls out of a U-Haul as our work truck was down. Enjoy! This is something totally different and will be fun for you to watch and also show that even if your van breaks down, you can still get work done. At the beginning, I will share my gym and workout routine at the moment, so I don't get burnt out. If you are in the trades, you will know that sometimes a day's work is like a gym session and you can be very physically tired.
There will be lots of informational parts in this video, especially the part on how to clean and service an oil burner. You will see the big differences between domestic oil burners and commercial ones, everything is on a bigger scale.

I do! My main thing right now is working for an HVAC company but I am also a master plumber. At the moment I only dabble in small side projects!

Could you replace a 50 year old oil fired steam boiler for a new Burnham V9 Gas Steam boiler? Want to use the existing gas in the building. Basically it with the old, in with the new. Using all the same pipes and radiators. Switch from oil to gas. I'm looking for someone who can do that. It's in a 10,000sq. Ft. commercial office building. The building is all concrete, originally built in 1920. It's an office building.

Sounds like a fun project! That could definitely be done as far as switching to gas steam boiler. Personally I can’t because I’m not insured working on my own company yet, I work for someone else.

Promaster - we had 3 in our fleet and all 3 went through at least 2 tranneys. Worst service truck on the road.

Nice guns. When you're cleaning the nozzles around 12:50, is that a drop-in parts cleaning tray for a 5 gallon bucket? Looks super handy.

Thanks! 😂 Yeah so that is the General E-Z Change Filter Draining System. I have used these buckets for years to drain off oil filters, strainers, and nozzles. It's a bit overpriced but it is handy to have. I added it to my Amazon store under the "HVAC" section if you want to check it out! Thanks for watching my videos! 👨🏻🔧💪🏼
