as an ele main i hated casted icefury. i like how they changed icefury to flow better with frost shock. so many amazing talents theyve changed

Icefury should disappear, its totally out of place in the rotation and fantasy of the class. I have never used it and never will, I don't care how powerful they want to make it, I HATE that ability

Ascednance doesnt even make sense - why are you suddenlt ascending into a lizard person? it should just turn you into an elemental version of what your spec is - they already have the animations for it - they just dont care to do the work.

@TheArmouryOfficial exactly lol, even back then, didn't make any sense. They just used that model because it was current content and a very common mob on raid and dungeons from Cata.

So the Earthquake talent is just an @target macro that we're not allowed to do.

So, SO glad we're getting closer and closer to a viable lightning playstyle. They just need to go a bit futher and let us switch out stuff like lava burst/flame shock for something lightning-y (even if it's just visual) and I will NEVER stop maining shaman.

Yes idk why so much fire stuff. We already have fire mage and destro lock. Make shamans use more water and lightning, and make lightning its own element in the game instead of it being a part of nature and give lightning its own passive effects (potentially chance to daze or slow spell casting or something with lightning damage on dazed targets having a higher chance to stun or do additional damage on non cc’able targets. Idk. just make lightning its own thing

Now we need a rework on hero talents and especially a visual update on all skills

Does the improved ascendance with haste buff work with DRE? So saying you proc DRE it's duration is +3s and gets the haste buff? Or just for the CD?

I know its small but feral lunge baseline has me excited. Curious to see if theyll have more enhancement changes in the next batch. Sounds like shamans wont be completely done until post launch, though.

Ele feels so good now. Very happy to have my Shaman back.

I fucking love the downpour change for resto, especially with totemic.....it's like changing healing rain to a thunderstorm for a huge burst

I loved the stormstrike build in BFA, then shadowlands prepatch made enhancement feel clunky and bloated. Skipped that whole expansion, but still looks bloated in DF

​@@alexbarrientos3626I loved the legion/BFA enhance. It needed a few changes to improve but when they swapped to this it killed it for me. Felt more smooth, procced a lot of stormbringer off crash lightning and it wasnt so annoying to manage the rotation like now.

I feel like it should play like the Avatar from the last air bender universe. Big elemental strikes from your weapons and hands throwing out big arcing attacks. More small pushbacks from fire and air attacks and small barriers from earth and ice builds

Enhance plays amazing in live imo

the current state of the changes look like what other classes got during the alpha, but this has just dropped yesterday. so excited shamans get something, it still feels like a first draft. enhance definitely needs more to be on par with the lifts given to other specs. lots of good feedback given in the alpha and beta.

while enhance didnt get a lot of changes you got them at just the right spots for ele builds. you get to take a lot more single target talents now. Doomwinds and Stormflurry upgrades help you punch in your worst situations

Allo Dal!!! always watching your Vid from Montréal, they are always nicely done. I have a special favor. I love lightning shaman but at base i am a healer and heavily invest in healing all the time, Would you make me the most simple build for a lightning dps shaman that do some decent dps with the least button to press??? i know you love experimenting new and original specs of differents class. I will really appreciate this. I would love making more dps in dps spec than in healing spec (lol )

I think for a lightening build it is better to go right side at the top to get the 10% dmg increase when the elemental is out since they can be out is often now

you waste 2 points on lava to reach that talent. The ele build he picked basically has every single lighting talent you could get except Thunderstrike Ward

They should've named the alternate EQ to Epicenter Quake, and make it attach with the target. Just like damage aura surrounding the target. Imagine Shadow priest's Mind Sear, but not channeled.

i wish we got a lightning ascendence as well, i like lightning builds more than fire. that plus many of the new lightning talents are broken or do work at all

Would be pretty cool to get a lightning version of ascendance. I feel like farseer feels strong because of the beefed up ascendance changes, where they actually have a strong CD and proc chance associated with lava burst. Youre basically just losing all of that playing stormbringer with hardly any compensation other than more sustained AoE

Very cool, and with a raid buff we may see alot more play from elemental

what i wouldnt give for passive spirit wolves summon, reduction in terms of button bloat and ovverall damage buff and actual totem viability. maybe with the totems increase the range and roll a few abilities into one. idk but 2/3 of the ideas i proposed would be more then adequate. but overall make us deal damage again.

The loss of windspeakers and primal surge is devastating...

Since they can’t seem to nail enhancement, what if they reworked it to be a buff spec like augvoker. It would be true to name and make enhancement desirable in groups. Giving the option to bring something other than aug. Maybe make them buff melee more than ranged so that M+ meta isn’t automatically spriest mage DH Druid aug

Enhancement was nailed in DF. Any changes besides about 1 QOL change is objectively bad.

It's pretty much confirmed at this point. We need enhancement to be a tank. There's obviously no real way they can make a melee spec with these thematics and gameplay style which work. Crash lightning - shamans version of thunder clap Astral protection? Why not have it interact with a few tank rotational abilities to make it a sound tank CD. lava Lash? Sounds like it could be akin to a thrash/maul Storm strike? Could be a pulverise or shield slam Riptide? Emergency self heal. Earth shield? Fuck it, give it a similar effect to demon spikes and have the arms/back of the shammy turn into rock Want to keep it bukder/spender? Fuck it, make earth shield you're defensive spender and crash lighting your damage spender. Want to do something new? Maybe maelstrom can work akin to a stagger/bone shield hybrid? You store maelstrom which gets consumed upon the taking damage to give stacks of defensive stats? It's all there already. Just pull the plug

Hook us up with a elemental PVP build.

I think one of the biggest flaws of icefury/Frostshock for many people is the animation. It feels not worth to press because it does not look/sound worth to press. I like the change, but it is still weird to put it into the rotation. Easy change would be like 0.5 shorter global, or reduce the damage and put it completly off global like warriors back in the Wotlk. Then Stormbringer should be able to profit from Stormkeeper. It feels akward to activate the CD and then having my insta lightning replaced by a cast. There are a few things wchich could be done better. But overall, for me it's a step forward.

You need to change the title to Elemental/Resto Shaman because Enhance isn't changed at all.

I like the lighting spells on ele and I'm glad that's more viable. But as an enhance main, this is extremely disappointing.

now were only waiting for shamans to be unlocked for all races aswell as paladin and druid :(

Wish they would make it so 2 hand enhancement was a thing again. It was iconic. Also a tank spec would finally put shamans on par with paladins to fill every role.

I mained Ele in BC and Wrath. Was such a support class. Its better now but usually still underwhelming. Such an iconic class with Thrall being a shaman but falls short every expansion. I still dont see how a mage can have basically a perm frost (water) elemental but a freakin shaman cant? Locks hit harder AND have a perm tanking pet. IDK about the rest of you but as a caster class like ele shaman, when the target is right on your ass instead of being kept at a distance, most all the pretty effects get lost in the grping on top of you.

Your tank can move out of earthquake even if you place it. That doesn’t change at all what an odd point

The @cursor version is better overall if you can get good at it for moments where mobs are further away casting or range attacking, you can put them on the edge of the circle. His main point was you can place the earthquake a bit earlier if you know where the tank is going to stack them all up. If you play the @target version you have to wait for them all to stop moving. Its hardly a big deal tho, mainly just preference or if you like to mid max

I feel like they didn't nerf maelstrom generation hard enough. Too many globals spent on es/eb, eq. I'd rather have them hit hard once in a while than take up a third of my globals.

Great vedeio. I agree with all the points you made, but i still think survivability is an issue specifically for enchantment. Also, the class talent tree has sooooo many noods for 35 points, but overall, this alone will make me play the game

As long as enough changes are coming to Enhance to make the Elementalist build viable for M+ and/or Raid, I'm fine with whatever they do. It doesn't need much, maybe just some talents moving around or 2 pointers made into 1 pointers.

Ghost wolf is a tiny visual detail. I agree but wouldn’t call it a large change. Ascendance will hopefully get reworked to something fun and engaging, but that’s 1 CD over a whole class. You want a reskin for lightning bolt? Seems like an odd request. Sounds like you just need to stop paying attention to this game as it seems to be a detriment to your health. Change the “you don’t understand” to “I don’t understand”. Add ons are a core part to the game and have been since the inception. Also during fights you don’t really need to know everything that goes on just what matters to your role.

I just think blizzard keeps getting away with subpar content and gameplay cuz there are people that seems to enjoy it, think about what you like and why you play this game, again this is just my personal opinion but numbers are saying that wow is slowly dying, even with 4 versions available and there are reasons for this

I just find shaman weird. It's cool that there are so many different play styles, but it's confusing. The abilities/passives that make you change form sucks IMO. I want to see my own character and not some weird form. Not to mention the button bloat. There are too many abilities.

After 20 years, they dont know what to do with ench shaman… make it tank spec

The community seemed super happy with enhance last season. Why the desperation for changes now? lol I think the aoe could be better but otherwise seems fine.

Well, they were good compared to other specs back then. Now after a ton of reworks enhance is lagging behind. The class tree is filled with either weak versions of different utilities compared to other specs, or giga niche ones. And they've been really squishy, dno if bulwark totem does much to fix that. The spec tree has too many 2 point talents, and is super rigid. Meaning you are dead set on two builds with no room for flexibility. And both builds are heavily taxed in globals meaning you can barely add new things to them without the rotation falling apart completely.

Why the hell can't enhance get DRE + ascendence like resto / ele. Why are we gate-keeped with 9 two points nodes.. Why does stormstrike act like a filler - its noodle (and legit most iconic enhance spell imo) Why do you need 10000 points to make lava lash do stuff. Why is frost shock so strong? Its a damn snare / utility spell Why is the fantasy war caster??? Its a melee, and the name implies that it should enhance that part (at least what I think) Why do enhance have piss-wave??? They are trolling right?

I like a lot of the Ele Class changes/improvements we got, but must still say that i dislike Ascendance. I Feel like Ascendance needs 2 be a Choice note where u can decide if u want 2 Trun into Fire or Storm "Ascendance". Right now i feel like a lighning build with Ascendance just feels weird. Everything i do improves my Nature Dmg, but my Big CD turns my Important AOE Builder into Fire.... i dunno

You dont play ascendance with lightning build ever even in DF because theres no synergies. But i agree there should be a choice node, would make it interesting

Going from a free caster to a stationary caster is horrible, hope they change something to get more instas or the masses will not like it guaranteed.

The triggers for farseer grandmas appearing, it really makes you need to play p-wave and fire build. And stormkeeper, you really want to stay away from the fire builds. Enhance needs their rotation cleaned up its still one of the most complex button bloated in the game. I just want a storm strike doom winds crash lightning, spenders super simple build. 5-6 buttons. Not this ice fury, ice strike/hailstorm, flame shock, lava lash spreading lashing flames, pwave, lightning bolt, totems - confusing super messy clunky. Also feral spirits must be the worst most underwhelming CD in the game, it looks lame, doesnt really add anything to gameplay, super boring and passive - it needs to be gone entirely in favor of a good/useful cooldown. The last few tier sets have all centered around feral spirits for some reason doubling down on how awful it feels.

Yep chain lightning should just so more dmg to a single target to cut down on button bloat. They literally addressed nothing people were asking for. Earthquake and spenders are still weak except ele blast. You can place earthquake on a target but who cares if it still does shit damage and tank can move out of it.

I don't know why all streamers are so enthusiastic about these cosmetic changes. Mage great, s priest great everything great, and in fact these are 3 talents that work mainly passively and add nothing to the gameplay. Does Blizzard pay you for this?
