It just aligned so well in his favor. Personally, I would've just taken the whole stack, goal it, then pick the random coins he left behind to break the goal, then go help at top so I can swing bot to take regibot. Damn is it funny when they come back when you're charging your unite though.

Scizor still feels like such a matchup dependent Pokemon, with some of its worst matchups being top mons in the meta. Still gets deleted by Glaceon, Espeon and Delphox and the sustain and damage of Bullet Punch still instantly loses to Zacian’s even bigger damage + stuns. Lapras and Trevenant also mess Scizor up pretty good

It really feels like swords dance as a whole is underwhelming, Scyther doesn't need it and Scizor appreciates the attack boost, but doesn't feel like it does all that much without the max hit boost

As a Scizor 'main' I fully agree. The ability to steamroll teams at Ray due to Double Hit resets is also so satisfying.

So I've been running your cdr build on scizor with amp, attack wieght and claw. Bullet punch and swapping between Swird dance (if tank/melee heavy or using double hit for the range to get espeons and glaceons. It literally kicks! Key points: Swap between eject or potion depending on play style, I preffer eject as I can use it offensively and defensively. Sword dance for the attack increase, however double hit has a much larger range so if it means you actually hit the special attackers then you will do more damage and have much better survival. In solo que I try to save my unite for when I jump on the ranged. Bullet has just under a 2.5 second cd and double jump is about 4.5seconds that in combo with eject and your unite means you will have no trouble keeping on top of them with the razor slow. That is unless glaceon just one hits you haha 😅

Hey Cris, I’m sure you’re aware but if you hit an enemy with a basic attack after activating swords dance Scizor throws two punches. Then if you hit bullet punch it just allows you to fill up swords dances ability quicker. And after you get bullet punch+ that combo completely activates the swords dance ability.

I think we still need a buff for double hit , cuz spatk is meta rn . Double hit is useless except for mobility so buffing it solely for scizor like : Decreases the target's speed Increases def and spdef on the 2nd hit Instead of reset , killing a pokemon gives you hp .

4:20 yep that right there is the reason i used razor claw on scizor just for the slowdown on enemies with my basic attack after using a move, even tho scizor boosted auto is supposed to do that already 9 times out of 10 you dont have boosted auto ready to be able to stick on top of someone

More bullet punches for more healing and shields, it's great. Doesn't particularly help with being bursted down though

I feel like Scizor didn't get enough things to bring him back to the meta but at least its a start. Too bad that Glaceon for some reason took the buff deserving slot completely.

Should be in a pretty good spot once all the meta mons get nerfs.

I once started fighting the enemy scizor who had the same tank build as me and we were fighting for 2 min straight🙃 In the end me and him both stopped because of boredom or it could have gone for the whole game

Scizor feels better now but it still feels like it's way too easy to get completely shut down by stuns.

@@aswin5151 Every score, no matter how small, recharges your Unite CD a set amount. So using many small goals can recharge it quickly.

i think the reason why scizor doesn't have good sp def is because of scyther. with scyther you can easily chase sp atk pokemon who generally don't have good mobility (espeon, gardevoir, etc) and scizor is better to fight other all rounders and defenders because of its sustain and defense buffs it gets with its boosted attacks. overall i think both pokemon are in a good place rn

Agreed. Some people underestimate how well Scizor can chase Attackers though while using Double Hit.

I spectated a match yesterday. Glaceon, Scizor, A Ninetales, and 2 others I don't remember vs. Comfey, Zacian, Lapras, Glaceon, last one I don't remember. I thought the Scizor team couldn't win, but they kicked ass and won with 600 more points x'D

Ohhhhhh my god the Blissey on the 2 min mark, i had a teammate like that too

I run double hit instead on scizor cause the mobility is really helpful and getting resets on kills makes it easier to steamroll in a team fight

I tried scizor with the regular build and it was "ok" and lacked mobility. I then tried with a cdr build (like urshifu) and it felt a lot better and got 150k dmg 😄

Gosh i really miss old Scizor, it wasnt broken, but those buffs definitely helped Scizor more than the 2nd buff

I’ve been using double hit with x attack instead of swords dance so I can catch squishies that try to run it also gives you mobility so you can use bullet punch to dodge and dash away then use the seconds activation to stick right back to the enemy. Takes some skill to do but it’s worth the chance to survive where you’d otherwise die

Stacking with scizor doesnt work for me, she has some mandatory items imo, and those are razor and focus, razor because its cooldown lines up perfectly with bullet punch and focus for the defense boost value

The real build is double jump and bullet punch. I have been on a major win street with that combo

Definitely needs to have sp.def increase or just give it damage reduction on it's boosteds and maybe more healing on BP.

If that happens then the only thing that'll be able to stop it is heavy defense piercing or true damage. Its current Sp.Defense is what keeps it in check, having counters... I 'main' Scizor and can deal with ranged special Attackers by using Double Hit.

Bruh he is so strong now, his healing is big bcoz of fast basic attack n cooldown of bullet punch reduces

How Exp. Share works has nothing to do with this...Exp. Share would mean Blissey should take the last hit still because Cris would still get 100% experience from the Pokemon

Siczor feels really good bullet punch buff feels very good, you can get a lot of bullet punch off I do agree against sp.attacker it isn’t very good, but as the game goes on I expect us to move out of this sp att meta

I've replaced Weight with Muscle and it feels better, played nothing but Scizor since the patch. And I don't feel bad against Glaceon or any Special Attacker for that matter. Maybe every single one I went against was just bad, but Scizor with his Bullet Punch being up every 2 seconds is huge.

I like the scizor buffs but they really got to nerf glaceon and ACTUALLY nerf Zacian, Lapras and Urshifu water . Really dont like what the devs are doing with this game atm

If you are a jungler scizor, and you have a good team you can destroy enemies no matter what. It's also really powerful in end game especially if you are level 13 or +. Just kite their attacker using unite.

I find Scizor is most useful to the team in lane, letting a mon take center who has high steamroll potential. Also, if you're worried about Attackers you additionally have Double Hit as an option which deals very nicely with them.

Scizor feels like a defender with no bulk. It gets pretty good healing with bullet punch, but doesn’t dish enough damage out,and has mediocre bulk for something that hits so soft.

The only buff it needs is unstoppable on BP. BUT it would need a slight nerf to compensate. Make it fair.

4:18 how do you stop people from just walking away from you? By running double hit. I've been carrying games on Scizor even pre patch with double hit. P.S. there's a bug where if you hit with bullet punch before the animation of double hit finishes, you can get all the effects of double hit, AND the extra mobility of bullet punch. With that combo, there's no such thing as just "walking away from a Scizor. Try it out in practice mode or something! Just use double hit and then spam Bullet punch! Keep in mind that it only works on enemy Pokemon tho.

The animation of bullet punch cancels the animation of double hit, but I guess the game just checks for a move to hit instead of checking for double hit specifically. Also works with both hits of dual wingbeat btw. Marks the target and gives you the second hit.

I think if they gave scizor a buff like either shortening swords dance cd or bullet punch reducing sword's dance cd more (or both let's be real) scizor would have a much better time actually sticking on enemies.

It's not better at all. The Defense and Special Defense colors give way less value than just going white for HP.

I feel like the problem with Scizor is that it has lesser reach. Bullet Punch only works with melees and it had to be super close ranged, exactly face to face. Something that attackers can easily get away from. Maybe if they buff the reach of that move it'll be a bit better.

Never had an issue with mobility when running Double Hit. Attackers crumble to the move and I can even retreat from them or others if needed.

Like bro scizor now literally gors into the opponents base and camps there for kills thats just broeken again, also paired with comfey bro becomes immortal.. but it is a pretty good buff for scizor because it was dying before now it came back alive...

lol, yeah I'm not sure if these were good changes or not because Scizor was better than people thought. What's really needed for Scizor to be better is all the meta mons to be nerfed. Because of the buffs we might run into a situation in future metas where people say Scizor is OP because its doing Watershifu-level shenanigans.

I hated this thing before so i was glad it was underperforming, now i will be annoyed by it again.
