Buddy Barrier seems crazy on this pokemon, you revive 2-3 of your allies AND give whoever is still alive a massive shield to keep up

According to Pikaszu the requirements of energy needed for reviving teammates are these: 1 teammate (0-19) energy 2 teammates (20-29) 3 teammates (30-39) All teammates (40) The feather closest to Ho-Oh will be priority for reviving

Another thing to Add about the Ult is It's Ranged and It uses up all Aeos Energy regardless how many people you Revive and the Revived pokemon don't get I frames

I'm so happy there is a move that has it's cooldown based on how long you actually used it. That mechanic needs to apply to every move that works similarly

Ho-oh is going to be broken with Hoopa. Hoopa can get the whole team to an objective, Ho-oh can revive them if they die, and if Hoopa is still alive when allies are revived, it can drop hyperspace hole on the spot they’ll revive at so they can immediately base to regain the rest of their health and then port back.

Pokemon Unite cycle since EX Pokemons came out: -Anniversary, OP EX release -expert players find that EX's compatible supporter(Zacian-Comfey, Mewtwo-Blissey, etc.) -Most dreadful unfair meta, people rage quit, uninstalling the game -after 5 months of horrible meta, EX is nerfed -some people slowly comes back to play -Timi releases a mix of loved and ehh pokemons -Timi releases one or more fan favorite pokemon, even more people are encouraged to come back and play -repeat first step

Revive is broken. I usually lose winning games by some dumdums dying 1v5 around Rayquaza, and then the rest following in tandem. Now I can revive them and actually have a 'normal' team fight

I don't think the unite is broken, it costs eos + your unit slot + the allies must be close. Don't expect to revive 4 allies every time your unite is out of cool down. If there are 4 death teammates close to you, be sure that Mewtwo will kill them again as soon as they are vulnerable again.

With the fact you can use fly and flame charge I'm sure Sabileye players will put movement spd items on ho-oh witha score shield and flame charge in, fly back out. Prob don't even need the movement items just use Atk weight and cookie with score shield and just abuse those moves lol.

if they rework leftovers like ho-oh's passive maybe it'll be viable

Leftovers is never viable it gives you health no stat increases and it doesn't work when you're in combat the only time when it might be useful. You're garbage bro 😂

Looking at what ho-oh can do, I’d probably run full heal so that in the ray fight, u can recover from a hindrance, which will give you the opportunity to use your unite and revive your allies. You could also run the x-speed to get to the feathers quickly. For held items, I would choose focus band, cursed bangle and exp. Share. I’ve realized many defenders like to run the exp share, so the same can probably said for ho-oh. If you were to run any other item, I would run either resonant guard (to amplify your regeneration) or weakness policy, like you said.

I'm excited for this mon but I hate they didn't give it Sacred Fire. What's a legendary without its signature move?

Nothing actually. Seeing as half of ho-oh’s moves can be stopped, it should be obvious to see pikachu, blastoise, and mewtwo are good counters to ho-oh, as their recommended moves can stun opponents.

They should've named that move Sacred Fire instead of Flamethrower.

I really don’t think it’s gon be as bad as yall think. Sure there’s gon be some goodra like situations where it jus seems unkillable, but ion think it’s gon be a mewtwo, zacian, or even miraidon

I love Ho-Oh and usually play as a defender, so this made me super happy!

Ho-Oh ult will be strong in tournaments, but in solo queue, I don't expect his ult to he that OP. You are still depending too much on your teammates at that point. And in solo queue, you have to try and carry most of the times.

Fly ended up bein a better move over fire spin. Pretty cool move n strong

I mean... the fact that you couldn't revive more than 1 pokemon after several tests, tells you how bad that Unite is. There will be clips where it revives an entire team, obviously, because it's going to happen 1 in 10000 games lol, but that's enough to go viral. C Tier at best. Is going to be ignored by the enemy team and its moves cancelled all the time. It wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't taking an EX slot, but it is.
