Guys I live in St.Martin (Caribbean ) we have had that dust 3 days . The dust is so heavy. We couldn’t see the Sun 3 days. Just close your windows. People complain here . Problem with breathing, itchy eyes... close your windows and do not go outside if you don’t have . People with asthma stay at home also .

Yeah it's not unusual, but it usually dissipates much much more. There are before and after pictures in the Caribbean (of when it arrived there) and the differences are huge. With a volcanos active as well. Noticed how tough Summers were in Alaska, 70"s -early 90's was terrible for trying to keep the rivers & creeks fish had a hard time to move into river. Helios & seaplanes used to dump ice for Salmon. FISH & Game would help in fetalizing eggs to give the species to make a come back. They gave the fish away to people still good to eat. Can imagine this will effect Alaska and part of Canada. More permafrost problems & receding of Glaciers with more red tides. What have we done for future generations.

Hey! Omg! This cloud was over Dominican Republic all day. I felt and knew something was strange. I'm 47 and never saw this happen in my life. The day was mostly like a light-grey ☁️ cloud. I was telling the people around me that something is wrong. They stated its just a cloud. And now I see this news and I was right. Sad these people are not knowledgeable to understand their geo surroundings. It's also why alot of people in my area died from CV. Every 3-5 minutes all day everyday the last 2 weeks cops, ambulance and fire departments sirens been going off. But the people don't react to what the problem is until someone says one of our neighbors just died from the CV.

Over 60 years ago, in Texas -- it seemed like an annual event to be hit with a choking dust STORM at least twice every year. A fine sand dust would pile up on cars, and windshields, lawn furniture, and like most Americans, we did not have air conditioning, or 'air cleaners'. We would all have to wear a damp cowboy mask, if we went outside. Livestock and outdoor guard dogs suffered greatly. And we'd have to stay inside - even though the temperature was above 90 degrees --inside the house. Compared to what we lived with in the 1950's, in Dallas and Fort Worth -- the warnings of today's 'Sahara' dust is waaaay overblown. Eventually, the state started building numerous large deep lakes all around Texas, and the dust storms became less and less, to almost nothing. Farmers also learned how to farm their land, to preserve the topsoil. All of that helped.

Living in south Florida it feels weird I had no idea this was going on and it simply going right around us haha. That’s crazy

That's what I saw: plague, extreme weather, riots and chaos unrest in the streets, unstable Gov., Worldwide health and economic decline. Change is on the horizon. Question is has probation closed

It’s almost 100° where I live in North Florida And when you go outside it’s very hazy. If you end of your broadcast you said that you don’t think Florida’s gonna be getting any of it but it appears that we are already.

The Saharan dust storm is a natural event that happens every year and is really important to the amazon rain forest ecosystem

So it's going to look foggy for the weekend outside my window.... but the arctic thing has me wondering what's happening up there...

Hopefully it carries to the West Coast. We could use some shade! Its almost as hot as the Arctic in Las Vegas right now haha!

The dinosaurs were climate change deniers, too.

Don't just apologize to your children and future generations for the mess we've all made of our planet and societies... Do something to fix it. We're all responsible, we all have to do something. Let 2020 be the year the world ALMOST fell apart until conscientious and unafraid people stepped in to reverse it.

It’s not unusual. They literally talk about it on one of the Planet Earth type series. It’s actually a good thing for the Amazon Rain Forest if I remember correctly.

Maybe our expert Jeff needs to go and have a good cry. His tears could soak up some of that dust. Also I can count on one hand how often the weather man has made an accurate prediction over the past 10 years.

As someone from Texas with many people in the medical feild as close friends, covid cases in texas have not gone up at all. All of them have told me that insurance covers a lot more and gives families more money during deaths if they claim covid was a cause. Its extremely obvious. Especially if you're here in texas. Sure, im sure some people have had covid here, but its a giant state and I literally dont know a single person whos gotten it, and honestly, sure, there were precautions, but we essentially never changed much of anything, especially where I'm at. Shutting down the entire world for such a tiny problem is unbelievable. Ita crazy that people are willing to go this far. Some to win an election, and a lot it seems like because they actually wanted something like this, especially young people and media. It's nonsense, doing all of this. Taking precautions, sure. Shutting the entire world down over something that affects a population of the world so small that it coukd be possibly completely gone unnoticed? Insane. The kids in the media seem to be the absolute dumbest people on the planet. None of them think for themselves. If you tell them that a smart person believes something to be true, they adopt it as a belief of their own.

I ask for nothing this Christmas, Except for everything to return to normal. And for everybody to have Food/Water, Shelter, Health, and love. God bless you all.

The dust storm isn't unusual. It happens this time every year like clockwork. Stop acting like it's something to be freaking out about.
