Fwiw, if you’re just before moonrise, you can buy packs and not open them until morning so you don’t have to immediately sell all those cards.

I'm so glad this game is getting the attention it deserves. It's such a creative idea!

Well there's Cultist Simulator if you're looking for something that's in the same vein, if a bit more abstract.

I was waiting for "Sailboat = Rowboat + Sail" or something to get you :P (Also Shiny cards are special only in that they sell for more, sell them.)

I think the concept is to travel back to mainland after learning the bigger boat recipe, build it there then go back to the island with supplies... Except you sold ya boat 🤣

If the monkey turns back, it feels less like training and more like just... paying the monkey

Did you know, you could skip a day if you travel to the island or vice versa? this could be exploited by travelling at the end of the day so you could skip the eating part (since travelling only took 3 sec).

Excited to see this game again! I loved watching these :) but btw I counted your cards and the monkeys and crab do count towards the total, just the shells that didn't count :P Also as a rabbit owner I'm hurt you can kill them but not a monkey, so rude haha x

Unrelated but I saw a playthrough for a roguelike deckbuilder called Mage Mountain , it does have some meta progress but I think you might like it regardless.

You can sell the foil sand but you should use a market

I think you can bring an army from the mainland to swarm the pirates/animals.

You won't need to, the update will come to Steam / itch.io for free when it is finished. Supporting on Patreon just lets you play it early.
