I arrived in Half Moon / Moss Beach on 12/28/23 and was blessed enough to be able to see some of this in person. Actually for a week long showcase of this. WOW... JUST WOW. I am from the landlocked northeast and what a show!

What an adrenaline rush!!! I was cheering every surfer. Damn I bet that is some super kick ass fun riding! Stay safe everyone and catch one for me.... I’m in shit hole Kansas.

Jojo Roper's wave was my favorite of the swell, legit barrel and massive spit 1:27 (there's a drone video out there with names for each of these waves)

That shit is insane! I live on the Florida Gulf coast and never see waves like that, except in Hurricane! You got to have some balls to jump in that torrent of ice cold sea water. Wonder how loud it is? Bravo Gentlemen!

I'm at Nazare right now. Waves are about 20-25 foot. I'm tempted to go in after missing the swell in my hometown in San Diego a few weeks ago that hit 20 feet.

Wow. I realized towards the end of the video I was tensed up and holding my breath. Angry looking waves; forbidding water color.

I never surfed but love watching and remember going to mavericks when I was younger and watching. Back in the seventies.

These dudes are nuts mavericks is insane cold dark with alot of great whites around you have to have balls!! I fish all around the monterey bay SC HMB,SAN FRAN and i would never get in that water!! i seen swells or waves out there 60 footers you are on another level surfing these,oahu when i went also had some big waves but the water is warm and clear that i would do its something about that dark ice cold water at mavericks that makes me nervous!!

Considering monsoon rains are forecast to continue in parts and areas in northern and southern parts of India this is not a surprise to me at all considering monsoon’s weather has been so monster or monster drought has been a big major factor in for the last past few weeks I and I am very not sure if the rain will continue in this year or if the it is just going south or if the weather is still bad or not but it will continue be a very big surprise factor to us me to see if how it is in this bed is going it is very bed or bed weather and the rain is very bad much is not a surprise to me and I am very much in the winter and weather and the I am very bad weather is very not a big factor is it was very cold and weather and the I have been in a very lot to do a you are you very bad much better weather and is a very good day weather and I will see be careful with you have are very good much better love to see you too much and you have an a lot of to say hi and you I am love 4:42
