Just a suggestion I would've put the buckets and little mower in the back of the dodge

That trailer has automatic slack adjusters. If the brakes are dragging, they may have been installed incorrectly, and they will continue to tighten too much even after you've backed them off. Or, they were installed properly but somebody did the initial adjustment too tight. Since they can't back themselves off, that would explain why they seemed to be fine once you backed them off. Aaron was following you when they were dragging. Did he see any smoke ? If he didn't, they didn't get any where near hot enough to do any damage. Be prepared for the dealership to say they're fine, no damage, and send you on your way. They're not going to put $1,000 worth of new parts on a wagon that doesn't need it. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

New trailer I agree they should have done a pre delivery inspection but it is your responsibility at the end of the day should have done a pre trip inspection. Got a 36k gooseneck trailer in Texas 21hr total drive back home, went through it from top to bottom like 5 times just to make sure

Need to get yourself an Auto carrier height stick. Makes it alot easier to tell if you're overheight!

Working in big rigs I've encountered alot more "new" trucks and trailers with issues. One was a service call where a brand new trailer never had oil put in the hub.... smoked entire hub, bearings and spindle.

You could put some type of shelf under the trailer to hold buckets or attachments. That way you could hold more tractors with less shuffling around.

ive been driving 17 years, adjusting brakes is just part of the deal. if you run mountains you are required to inspect them all the time and adjust accordingly. doesnt matter the trailer is new, you should have adjusted them in the first 50 miles, check the hub oil, grease points, ect. pre delivery inspection, HA! what about your pretrip inspection?

I don't blame you for being pissed. A lot of people have problems like this and act like no big deal, which I think is just stupid. When you pay that kind of money your paying for reliability it kinda defeats the purpose of buying new, and like you said they should do a quality inspection before making you have to deal with issues you shouldn't have to.

I think you would be a lot happier w a landall dovetail trailer if you ask me way easier to load no ramps to take on and off. They are also built like a tank.

Hope to see you on the road sometime. My new project 05 379 is almost done. C15 cat with c18 pistons and liners ( so 17L engine now), stage 4 head, high rev valve springs, cryo treated heatbolts, vibritech damper, compound turbos, full tilt manifold, marine cam. Should be a good everyday 900hp and crank it higher for events. New paint, front fenders, rear full fiberglass fenders, 7in exhaust, bumper, visor, and lots of lights. Next is front air ride and deck plate. I'll tune the truck myself till I find what works best

You should get a modular metal portable loading dock, I know where a couple of them are just sitting around and one is aluminum and 2 of them are steel. They have trailer style landing gears on them so you can adjust the height of them for each trailer. They have 12 foot flat decks at the top with 20+ foot ramps to the ground.

Check the arrows on the slack adjusters there probably set wrong and adjusting the brakes too tight.
