mine would be Hoya Tam Dao, recieved a cutting last year , stricking lime green with dark venation when sunstressed. Unfortunately it turned into a not so nice yellowish and died, probably due to the sunstressing and shipping and now I'm at my second try thats nothing looking like the one before 😒...we`ll see... btw... nice to see you again!!!

Ugh, I had to get away from 👽

Starting to think why even bother with many you tube videos that talk about how many hoyas they have killed. I have lost 2 hoyas when I first started. I only try to buy the ones that I feel passionate about. Have problems with propagating. Everything I plant roots and grows like crazy. Don’t have space for so many, so I gift them to special people that take care of them. Where does it end. I love watching you, Basie. You have a massive collection of the most beautiful hoyas but you have it down to a science. Not just for having hundreds. I follow very few serious collectors. I wish it was truly for the love of caring and keeping such beauties. Thanks for explaining the reasons for your ways. Love your humor and that you hold back from paying hundreds for plants that many people buy just to say I have that one.Love

I like to try to get as many as I can to see which ones I like and which ones are worth growing. Sometimes, hoya in the photo is nice, but not so nice when it arrives and when I see it person. Sometimes, it is other way around. Sometimes it is beautiful, but a terrible grower. So, I try to have those that I like, that grow well and that look good :) I am glad you like the videos 💚

Glad to see that you are back, Miro! Love your Hoya videos. So inspiring to try to find them in US. I’ve had Hoyas for at least 1.5 years, but have not had flowers...until NOW! Well, not flowers yet, 3 peduncles. 2 on my H. Cumingiana and 1 on my kentiana. So excited! Good luck with all your new Hoyas. Would love a callistophyla or some type of veiny leaved Hoya.

I have hoya kentiana (variegated) in semi-hydro as well and mine absolutely loves it. It keeps giving me new leaves 😍

So glad you're back Miro! I was doing the same as the others, watching old videos and checking for new ones 💗. Was starting to get worried about you too. I'm sure you probably know this but you can soak dehydrated Hoya cuttings in a weak sugar and warm water solution for a few hours until they plump up again. Just chuck the whole thing in, leaves and all. I've had results in as little as 30 minutes but you can leave them in for up to 24 hours if needed. I brought a Hoya pubicalyx unknown back from the brink this way 😍

Sorry I kept you waiting! Yes, I know of the trick :) I usually soak them in distilled water with algamic. It arrived fine, but it did dehydrate a bit while rooting, and in that case I just wait until they push new roots and they are usually fine :D Actually, I noticed after this video that lockii already has a peduncle! I am over the moon. No pressure Hoya multiflora, but you are soooo behind 😂

I think lockii is supposed to be one of the hoyas with the longest lasting flower. I can't wait honestly! I have been wanting it for a while but I was afraid it would do poorly in shipping.

😂 Never ask yourself at what point do I have enough hoyas xD My plan was to get all of these and then no more this year. That lasted for 2 weeks. Now I am back at square one thinking... I really have very few. Honestly, 2 pots here and 2 pots there 😂 You definitely need to tooooouch ruthiae! And glabra is so gorgeous! It is like... a perfect heart!

Loved Xfiles. My older brother showed it to me when I was 11. It scared the 💩 out of me 🤣 still watched it though! I'm nearly 40!!!! It's quite awesome how easy most Hoyas are to root. I mean I have had a few struggles... linearis was giving me a hard time, seems ok now 🤞❤

My parents watched it when I was 6. I didn't know half of the time what was happening but I remember there was this creature that was getting around through pipes and vents in the show and it made me scared to go to the toilet 😂 And honesty, sometimes I still think about it 😂 Oh, linearis roots fast in distilled water! Honestly multiflora was the biggest struggle for me.

I should have listen to you about the wayettii, because I got one a couple days ago and now it’s dropping leaves, has root rot and doesn’t look like it’s going to make it. The seller will refund me, but I didn’t expect it to be so finicky. Good luck with your kentiana. Maybe I’ll try that one next.

But believe me, there are grey ghosts out there with very silvery leaves, and they are worth the cash!! 😂 My fave of your new Hoyas is the rintzii Borneo, it’s been on my wishlist for a long time 😍

The finlaysonii nova from your friend is nova I familiar with .. but finlaysonii complex is confusion & large .. i cant stop collecting them .. the sigilatis you show look really similar to sigilar alas river .. cute plant my favorite from the list is microstemma .. i look up for the flower .. it very pretty .. 😍

In the summer it’s humid….and big box stores don’t sell Hoyas but I can order, I guess I need a green house if I have Hoyas???

I love other people‘s hauls, I can be happy with you since I cannot buy any more hoyas :(, I have 60 and that’s it. Amazing! Christmas for the eyes! Yes, I am addicted very much.

I honestly will have to get rid of some other plants to fit more hoyas in the future. It is not a big space and it is getting crowded! The plant was for this to be my only hoya purchase for the year, let's hope I stick to that 😅

Here, cuttings of variegated heuschkeliana are around $10, not sure what the price is where you live :) It really came down in price, but it is such a beautiful plant! I am glad to hear you are bindge watching the videos
