I was thinking the same thing, if your kitchen is spotless good for you, but when I shuck, shell, peel bushels of produce and can it, with my limited counter space my kitchen is very cluttered
I guess whoever commented on a “messy kitchen”, doesn’t understand that a kitchen is not for Pinterest views, but for actual food preparation. 😂😂. You’re doing such a great job taking care of your family. Praise God for all the Proverbs 31 qualities that he has given you. Also, it’s not messy. It’s being used 24/365 and cleaned/ tidied, multiple times a day. ❤

I agree, her kitchen not messy at all, when you can a lot like she is, you are not going to keep it clean as usual....all those pot & pans & jars & jars of food is out on the counter, what else would you expect, ???? Her kitchen is beautiful and its probably jealous ones who is saying that.....I'm a messy cook too, but my kitchen isn't like that when I don't cook,,,,, so stop complaining about her, those that complain probably doesn't do all the canning she does.....I don't know how she does what she does.....I know her Mom must be a lot of help, plus they make the kids do jobs too ...which is great , they should.....keep up the good work Jamerrill.... , you do GREAT.....and I love your kitchen.....

Honey I’m 75 years old, so I’m absolutely sure there is a newfangled way of dealing with the hickory nuts. The way my granny and grandpa dealt with them was put them in the drive way to get the green hull off. They found that the easiest way. That sucker is stuck on there. Hopefully that helps. Good luck with all your harvesting.
Lol, just as I was rejoicing over how much room you have for canning, you said some people thought your kitchen was messy. That's not messy, that's canning at its finest!

I have been married 47 years, I have always had a messy kitchen and have thoroughly enjoyed having and making a messy kitchen!!!! I raised three children, had their friends, neighborhood kids, nieces and nephews all pass through and congregate in my kitchen! Now I’m working on grandchildren, daughters in law and a son in law and soon to be grand daughter in law! We still hang out in the kitchen and it is still messy! Wouldn’t change it if I could!!!

Sister, I have been canning for months on end, and I still got strawberry pulp on my floor from the very first thing we canned off with in the season. I barely clean the kitchen when canning, no point when it happens again the next day. I power wash when season is done and it feels so good to be done canning and to have everything clean and to stare at your shelves and know you provided well with what God gave us !

Right? How do you NOT get messy cooking anyway? Especially when you’re canning! It’s part of the fun
why in the world would anyone think your kitchen is messy. You cook for a living and cook a lot. Anyone who actually cooks, knows that your kitchen will get cluttered when cooking. I am a baker. I totally related to you. I love you and your kitchen. Keep doing what you do. Don't let these people get to you.
Imagine having the nerve to tell someone that their kitchen is messy. That really does take balls. Why watch these wonderful video's if you're only here to pick them apart anyway? Jamerrill, I find your kitchen full of warmth and love. 💕
I remember your tiny tiny kitchen. I love the upgrade woman you needed this very long time. Is big enough to even have your grandbabies when it comes. Stay blessed stay beautiful stay strong
Hi Jamerrill! Can I just tell you that during these difficult times in this world I look to your videos for comfort. You are so peaceful and kind and knowledgeable. I also appreciate you have no fear incorporating God in also. I thank you for sharing your life and family. God bless you and your family. 🙏💓
Yep, that's about what I imagined Jamerrill's "hopes and dreams", "doing all the things" mega kitchen would look like. Loved the look of that humongous stove with the ginormous pots and the adding of more and more pots, like the elements would never run out. I guess whoever had expectations of seeing a pristine kitchen doesn't really know you at all. Bty: we all keep coming back for more because we love you just the way you are.

This is the first video of hers I've seen, and that kitchen is *amazing*, and so is the amount of work put into everything. 💛
You made me feel good again. I’m a full time cook at home making everything from scratch and organic for two. What I have noticed lately in the kitchens is this trend with almost nothing on the counters! It made me second guess what I have been doing with my kitchen. My kitchen is my workshop and I have the tools i.e. Instant Pot, Kitchen Aid, Blender, etc. on the counters to use. Thanks for sharing your “working” kitchen with me to restore my hope that it’s not a show room!

Same here Vicky!! My kitchen is VERY “cluttered” (in quotes because I’m assuming that’s why the young folks would call it now-a-days!!) …. As I tell my husband…. Cooking for our family, using olde world skills, Whole Foods based is literally, a full time job (as I’m sure you know already!!) …. I have spices…. Mixers… canners…. More spices…. Appliances EVERYWHERE in my little space!!! As long as the dishes are done, put up and my stove area is cleaned off, apron on…. Hair put up…. Im ready to rock and roll!! Also….. if counters are always “uncluttered” with appliances/items we use…. A lot of time is wasted hunting for or gathering up those items … The idea when you cook like you and I do, work smarter, not harder…. Cooking from absolute scratch is already a lot of work! Make no mistake about it people… the from scratch cook, works incredibly hard for the health of their family ❤️💕🙏🏼❤️💕🙏🏼 Sending Love to you from Oregon 🌲🌲❤️💕🙏🏼
I'm just amazed at all your energy! Canning, cooking, kids, and cleaning. Whew! Good job Mama!!
I WISH I had a big kitchen like that when I can. I get out card tables to set stuff and can barely walk in my kitchen and it IS a mess! But is is sanitary, and I am being productive and putting food up for my family. YOU GO GIRL! There is NO way (IMHO) to do all the peeling, dicing slicing, shredding , packing, jar washing and have everything look “tidy” All those filled jars on the shelves make up for ANY mess🥰 I am happy you are a fellow canner😁
You're kitchen looks great. Its the heart of the home being loved and nurturing your family!! 🌺🌼🌺
Years ago I had an Amish lady tell me to put a half a teaspoon of white vinegar in my quarts of corn. She said it would prevent the corn from ever fermenting. It works and there is no vinegar taste at all. Love your videos!
“Don’t be scared…stick with me kid” - okay, mama. You aren’t much older than me but you give off such a comforting vibe that I look up to you.
Just found you. canning, dehydrating, and fermenting is my thing. love your space, especially that sink. and I quilt, longarm and embroidery. love it all!
If people think your kitchen is messy then I think they’re jealous. You have an absolutely beautiful kitchen and do a great job.
I think the joy in your voice is getting stronger with every kitchen task. I'm sure a lot of mega mama's, including myself, would give their left piggy toe, to dance around a kitchen like yours! Thanks for sharing how to cook, manage and clean such a picturesque living space, it's FABULOUS!
Oh my gosh….people that say things like “your kitchen is messy”….are totally jealous and just are people who know nothing but meanness and actually enjoy doing it!!!!! Your kitchens amazing and so very organized …..NO one making these comments could begin doing the amount of food, prep you do and what a lovely space you have to do it!!!! You go girl!!
Love preservation time. Sleep like a baby when it is all cleaned up. I just ordered the electric pressure canner. I am so excited to start all the canning I haven't been able to before. I think it could be used basically most of the year. Thanks for all the cooking, preserving and building the ultimate kitchen!
Hard working Mama feeding her family the right way. Seeing where food comes from and the work and time it takes to grow are lessons your children will always have. Thank you for sharing and teaching us on KZread! 💜

The Amish don't pressure can and the rest of the world don't pressure can. Being told your gonna kill people all the time when we made it the same amount of time through history as your family without the pressure canner is testament to water bath canning. Yay! Super excited to watch! & don’t worry about those people judging you. Every moms kitchen gets messy/cluttered. It would be a lie to say otherwise. Jealousy comes in all forms, but continuing spreading your kindness and love kills it all! Keep it up! 🎉
I love that you have so much room now to get your harvest done. People are rude and jealous. I think it’s great! You are working hard for your family I’m so happy for you!
Just wanted to share a tip: I switched my presto stove top canner to the jiggler type gauge (the one specifically for the presto canner) and what a game changer!!! As long as the jiggle is going at a nice calm jiggle, the dial gauge stays steady at 11lbs. I can then listen instead of having to keep checking the dial gauge. This is most beneficial if you have an electric or smooth top stove because the burner tends to go on and off. Hope this helps! Love your kitchen and no, its NOT dirty…its being used for exactly what it was designed for! I have a one-butt kitchen so I can say, if I had that kind of space, I would have the same multi-tasking action going on! You are such an inspiration! Thank you!
The faucet right over the stove is a game changer!😍
After the chickens get done playing with the corn cobs, if you pick them up, let them dry and run them through a wood chipper, they would be great in the garden, or compost pile.
You have a working kitchen (big family). Your kitchen is beautiful and far from messy. Great job on keeping up with the on going working kitchen clean up ♥️
I wish someone would tell me my kitchen is a mess so I could assign that job to them 😁everything is so beautiful. I love it!

Even though we do not live on a farm but in a small cottage, our back porch is always a mess because it is a working porch. Garden and muddy shoes, potting bench, etc. decorate it.
I use a mandolin and take the kernels of corn off cob. I shuck, cut and do not blanch. I freeze dry the corn kernels. Tastes more right off the cob fresh when I prepare it in freeze dryer.
Your kitchen is just fine. When it's time to be canning it's gonna look great like this. The best part is you know you're making food for your family and such. Never worry about what anyone says. I'm a new subscriber. I appreciate what you're doing teaching us how to do this

I love your channel! Your kitchen looks like a working kitchen. Thanks for keeping it real. I am especially interested in your organization pointers. When I was a kid we called them "hickor nuts". When we moved to our little homestead there is a Hugh hickory tree, so we named our place Hickor Nut Hill.
Another wonderful video! Pay no attention to the ignorance of others. I remember being told that a “messy” kitchen is a sign of a great cook, and that has always stuck in my mind. Enough said! Now go on and keep being you and do you! I love watching you cook in your “messy” lived in, full of love and excitement mega momma kitchen!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hickory Nuts. When I was a child, (I am 80 now) my dad would make Christmas Fudge using the Hershey Cocoa recipe. But while he cooked the fudge, he would crack hickory nuts and I and my 5 siblings would sit in a circle on the kitchen floor and pick the nuts from the shells to use in the fudge. We used safety pins to dig the nuts from the shells. I remember that they were very hard to remove from the shells. But that was the best tasting fudge in the world. We only ever had it at Christmas time. I know it has been 60 years since I last had any. Your video brought back these good memories. Thank you.
You did such an amazing job canning everything, wow! You're an inspiration to just get the work done! Have a beautiful weekend!
This is Elaine not Larry- I love seeing you in your bathrobe with your hair wrapped because it means something serious is gonna happen!!!❤😂

As a momma to 5 I'm so glad I found this channel!!!!
Who remember Jemerill from extreme couponing? Your kitchen may be messy, but that's what happens when you are taking care if your family, with all the cooking, canning and all the what nots. It's clean by the end if the day. You don't have rotten food and bugs everywhere. You keep doing you. And mind what others say. Your family is well taken care of and fed some delicious food from that "messy" kitchen.
That was like ASMR watching you cut all that corn off. I was mesmerised. Lol. Absolutely love your kitchen …hopefully in the next few years I’ll get my dream kitchen and I’m taking notes from yours.

Oh, Jammerill, I do the same thing. Who cares if I am still in my pj's in an effort to get up and running. You are a total work horse.i love your videos. How can you not freeze or can with your size of family. And then one day you will have grandchildren. It probably won't stop. I am happy for you and your new big kitchen. Blessings...
Yes Jamerrill, the digital pressure canner is awesome! I have both, a regular canner and the digital, and I prefer the digital. Makes life so much easier 👌🏽
Your kitchen is so beautiful!! You have so much more room to work now. Great job!
So much room to work in!!! Such a great kitchen 😀
Try freeze drying your corn. It tastes JUST LIKE fresh. 🥰It's my family's preference.

Do you cook or blanch before you FD?
I have been absent for awhile, going through breast cancer, surgery , chemo and tomorrow starting radiation. Good to see your new kitchen.
I like how you always say this is not a big show kitchen this is a kitchen for the family. It’s a good reminder for me when I compare my kitchen to the show case kitchens I see on social media. Our kitchen is full of food, love, and people. It’s a family kitchen!
When I still canned I used a mandolin it was quick and easy. After removing the corn would make corncob jelly.
