Yaegir are mandatory imo. Infiltrate and being able to screen for the sagitaur scout move for just 80 points is insane. Add to that the fact that their melee can go to -4 ap with a strat is even better.

I think you’re misreading the changes to the untargetable stratagems; it’s not outside of 12” but within 18” (or however it was that you explained it), it’s that units using these abilities can only be targeted by units within 18”. The change replaced 12” with 18”, extending the range units are vulnerable by an additional 6” (see the grey knights example they give) So staying outside of 18” is actually the only way these stratagems will keep you from shooting now, rather than a way to avoid the effects like you say in the video (if im reading the rules change correctly)

Hi! I'm new to this channel, I listened to the recent podcast interview and I was thinking, wouldn't it be nice to create a video with the new update in mind where you go through a beginner friendly "all round" list that is built for tournament play? Cheers!

Damn, just read through the docs and you weren't lying about 10.5

The Yaegirs being 80 is more (less?) than what I hoped for. I was expecting 100, wanted 90, but at 80 that's cheap enough to put a second unit into consideration easily! Overall I think Votann kind of wash out - we catch a couple small strays to dev wounds and pivot on bikes, and a slight nerf to tokens, but pivot is good for sagitaurs and land forts and we miss a lot of the larger nerfs due to just not having any of those rules in the army. Because we're still such a small range it's really going to come down to whether or not the meta shifts to be stronger or weaker into us, but my gut instinct is we're gonna stay about the same. I guess time will tell if my instincts are correct or if I just have an upset stomach :V

Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think the bikes lose anything with pivot as they aren't a vehicle or monster. They only have the mounted keyword. Edit: Nvm, kept watching and see where that came from. Think my group will just ignore that tbh. I really wish GW would make their rules easier to follow in one place.

Yaegirs at 80 is perfect for Boarding actions - was very hard to build a list before

I wont be satisfied until I get 50 point Sagitaurs

One of the FAQs says that if a unit with long list kills a unit on an objective marked by appraising glare a long list activates, essentially creating a new grudge token, did anyone play like that before cause I wish I did

Definitely grab a combat patrol to start with. The bikes, warriors, and berserks are a good foundation. The kahl you can use as is or count it as an echamp with friends. The next step are vehicles! Grab a sagitaur or two as these are staple in every list. From that core, take a look through my videos for a list you like the style of and fill as necessary 🙂
