Great to see you together! Not in a million years would I be in a boat with that beast. We catch little snappers in the parks in NYC and those things are NASTY. They usually go back in with a pierced lip@

I have to agree with your podnah, soft shell turtle is the best eating of all the turtles. Tricky to catch sometimes and creepy as hell looking, but they never disappoint the taste buds. Enjoy!

Crazy how a baby catfish will slurp down a 8/0 hook lol

I love softshell turtles I've cooked a bunch of them, in Texas where I live the alligator snapping turtle is on the threatened species list so we aren't allowed to harvest them.

A buddy of mine was gar fishin in the trinity river one day and he hooked up and it started to the bank, it crawled out and it was a huge alagator turtle 🐢 Looks like y'all had a great time That gator was the catch of the day 🐊

It definitely was a good time.

Last year wasn’t that humid with the drought. But it was hot. I got a feeling dis one gone be swampy. Noting more miserable than 100 degrees with 100% humidity. Iykyk if you don’t da swamp might not be for you!
