well done! I watched the entire series and the most difficult part was the wiring and building the gearbox harness... I don't believe if is any easier with a stock ecu. Now that you came so far next step is to retrofit the steering shifting flaps or pedals from a mk6 along with the multifunction steering wheel :) and why not that colour mfa dysplay in the ike. I recently got an mk4 tdi axr the short one hatchback and I found thatthe steering is pretty hard compared to my other car an e39 with servotronic system. That's nothing wrong with the mk4 steering rack or the power steering pump' the fluid I already changed Is just the steering feel is too stiff and you really have to put some muscle in the wheel in the parkink lot. So I search online and nobody seems to adress the issue on mk4. The americans retrofit on their massive cars a volvo electric hydraulic pump from s40 or so without can signals seems to work at 70 percent on a fail-safe mode and seems to be enough even for driftings. I would like to know your opinion upon this matter and if you ever considered this retrofit. Congratulations for the job well done and thanks for sharing your hassle retrofiting the dsg into mk4. Thanks to Felix also for helping putting this awesome series online. Regards from Romania👍

This makes me so happy to read! Yes ive been thinking of a mk6/7 steeringwheel with paddles actually we Will see what happens😎 not sure how the steering should feel mine is pretty light for a servo actually. Ive heard people using Volvo pumps but i havent researched into it alot but could certainly be cool to do if you can controll stiffnes with oem ecu or something! We apreciate the kind words both me and Felix!!
