Genghis Kahn's most effective strategy was the retreat. His forces used it as often as possible. They even did it just to get their enemies to chase them. It's one basic tactic that if the AI used it even a little would change things. I believe the devs should offer patches to improve the AI, otherwise the simplicity will run its course quicker and the game will not retain its appeal.

These war simulations have a fatal flaw: unlimited ammo.

I would say that even a minimal psychology is missing. I do not think that even the most fanatical soldier in front of hordes of your comrades who form walls of corpses continue to charge undeterred.

I'm pretty sure those flying boulders would damage tanks from blunt force. A direct hit on the barrel would probably bend it to some extent.

Watching the catapults throwing rocks against the tanks made me laughs!😂😂😂 Looks like the AI don't think that is very unnefective strategy?

This is the kind of battle that would show up on the fossil record millions of years from now

The catapults made a difference. As in no difference.

Интересно, а танк почему взорвался, из-за того что по нему мечами стучали? Или из-за стрел из луков? Было бы реалистичнее, если бы просто один танк, въехал в этот мильон и без единого выстрела, давил бы их гусеницами. Максимум, у танка кончился бы бензин.

As soon as most of the catapults got destroyed, the army casualties slowed quite a bit -- and with that huge gap between static archers and mobile tanks, well those archers just evaporated!

Man just a handful of smg infantry were left. I especially like the way they take shelter from the arrows behind the tanks

@@Afrancis16 Nah, no argument just a discussion. I simply object that Uebs focuses on ground forces and adding guided missiles would be like using the airforce. From this point of view a Sherman would be as modern as an Abrams to anyone who doesn't have a Javelin. Anyway have a nice day king

Very unrealistic, but very fun to watch.

Even though they lost they did fight back. They really made the battle better by not just folding
