I am having trouble with it cranking. acts as if it has jumped Timing. any suggestions

i have a cub cadet 550 challenger gas is getting in the oil & I have replaced the efi

I've got to replace a stator would love a video of that

me too my charging system was never up to par. riding at night slowly drains the battery to the point of not starting the thing. i can't get the fan bolts of to get to the stator housing. brass inserts spinning i the plastic

All in all what ended up being the problem. I am working on 2 of them now run good at idle but once you start to build up speed under load it breaks up almost sounds like the choke is stuck on but they dont have chokes. Iv gone threw the fuel fuel pump checked all the wire connections. Going to try it with the intake off of carb now and see what that does.. These units only have 9 hours on them..

Problem solved it was the seat belts they have to be latched or it will not go over 10 its a safety feature on it i guess... Unreal...

4 wheels these ones didn’t come with that safety feature...we bought them without it...it’s an option you can buy not standard...

Just put New pump as 45 psi comeing out the. Injectors have good spark and i adjust the vavle clearances to the the adjustment still doesn't start any idea

Timing...sounds like it jumped timing...compression check should tell you if it did...

I have a 2018 ODES Dominator X2. It only starts sometimes. It is Fuel Injected. It only starts when the ignition position is in run and kicks on the fuel pump. 99% of the time when I put ignition into run position the fuel pump does not come on, any ideas? Thank you.

Sounds to me like the switch itself is the culprit...have you tested it to see if there's power? I'd check the switch first to see if is powering the system upon crank...if it isn't the switch is bad...

I have a 2015 efi 500 and the spark plug gets dirty fast. We clean the spark plug and injector and it runs fine but within a week it start to not hold a good idle and will bog and die out often. Cleaned the spark plug and injector then fine for another week. The plug is fouled with black soot. The previous owner accidentally put diesel in it and ran it for a while before it shut down. Anything I should replace or clean?

Fuel tank and system...sounds to me like there's still some diesel fuel trapped somewhere...change your filter as well...

Could you explain how you tested the injector with a "noise light"? I am having trouble with my Massimo. I know I have gas to the injector. So its either the injector clogged or no power to the injector. I can take the injector out and get it to run with starting fluid, however when I unplug the injector plug while squirting with fluid, it wont run, so would you say my power to the injector is ok? Thanks for the info, these Massimos info is hard to find.

Jeff Johnson use a mini marker light bulb...bend the end connectors out like a plug and insert them into the harness end of the injector plug then try to start the engine...if theres a pulse from the ecm the bulb will flash and that will tell you its an injector problem...if it doesnt then do as instructed in the video...these fuel injection systems are pretty simple to solve...

Ok I checked the harness plug with a bulb and it blinks , so I guess I have a bad fuel injector. Thought about trying to clean it but I think I will just buy a new one.Thanks a million for the help!

Hi my is Jim I have a 1000 Nordic avalanche hyson engine in it replaced all wiring harness had a problem with one of the plugs shorted out and burnt up the pan so I replace the CDI box.we put a new harness on it the new harness came with a extra box on it, something to do with the exhaust sensors anyway, it ran for about five minutes and shut off. Turn the key off put it in park . Start it back up go another five minutes shut off now it won’t start at all wondering if you would know what it would be no fire to the coils but we have fired the crank sensor , and fuel pump is working. The injectors are working, but we have no fire to the coils. Just wondering if you can shed some light on that for me

Have you tested your stator? Your stator may be the culprit…its behind the flywheel…

Can't get Massimo out of four wheel drive

If your Chinese side by side fuel injected models won't rev up or idle but will start or u hold hand over air intake take vice grips and block off return line to pump then try to start it.

Michael, I have a Massimo Warrior 700 that has no spark. We have replaced the following parts plug, coil wire, and coil still no spark. Cant find a service manual for this thing any where.

how is the the gap between the flywheel and the coil...if the adjustment isnt correct it will not fire...it could be either too far away or too close...is needs to be gapped to the size of a matchbook...if this doesnt work then check the stator...its behind the flywheel

I’m having trouble with my massimoto 500, it cranks but won’t start and when it does start If I let go of the gas it isles and shuts off. Any ideas?

i would start with electrical...a relay...something is heating up electrically and is killing it...is it fuel injected or carbed? what year? they came either or depending on the price

Try blocking off fuel return line to pump, one with black clip use vice grip

2016 msu 500 will start idle time but once under a load boggs holds like 16-20 mph tops

I will say something about Massimo 500 my father had bought one just 5 months ago and the thing has been a total piece of garbage it's gave him lots of transmission problems which what it does is when you put it in gear it acts like it's not in gear then all of a sudden without any warning it's slams into drive very hard with a loud pop noise. we drain the oil and noticed large amounts of metal shavings which was due because of the transmission we take it to the dealer that sells Massimo's and we haven't seen the unit for 2 months Massimo rebuilt the motor but it took forever for the dealer to get it back. once he got it back just a couple days ago he discovered that there was a few parts missing unfortunately we have no idea how long it's going to take now for them to fix it again. Save your money and go buy a Honda Kawasaki or Yamaha.

yes...massimo is a pita when it comes to repairs or getting replacement parts...it all comes from overseas...we had many come back for issues even with only 1 hour on them...for the price though theyre not that bad i dont think although others are better...i would try to find another place that sells them if parts were missing...thats not good at all

Fishkiller next to the plug i describe in this video theres a small pcm directly next to it...the fuel pump and ignition run through this...either its no good which is also common or check the ground in the lower plug to the pcm...i forget which pin it is but thats a place to start...

help, my 500 will run great for hour or two then quiit, i leave it for hour or two then it will start and maybe run good for a time then quiit again . is it gas or wiireing ??

things to check...it almost sounds like an electrical issue...1. fuel pump...2. ignition coil...3. cpu( fuel injection only) carbed check stator... the wiring harness you see me repairing is one for a fuel injected unit...the cpu is the small black box plugged into that harness...

Lewis Beaulieu if you don’t have one use a mini marker light bulb from a car light and bend the connectors straight and plug it into the injector plug...if there’s a pulse it will flash

Massimo piece of crap .second fuel pump trouble with shifter; hard to get into gear. They sell them no one works on them! Never again.
