This programme follows on from volume twenty four and looks at the developments of the MF 3000 series in all its many variations. We pick up the story when there were no less than three main ranges manufactured at their factory in Beauvais, France. The 3000 series are good tuff tractors I got a 3070 it is quality built. Growing up we always had the 3 digit numbers of the Massey Ferguson's the largest was a MF 285 81hp. They were good tractors but not as heavily built nor the quality of the 4 digit Massey Ferguson's such as the 3000 ,3100, 3600 series. I had recently bought a 3070 very low hours 2,175 hrs barn kept had been took exceptionally good care of. Nothing had never been hooked to the 3 point hitch before , the paint had not been worn off of the inside of the lift arm balls. All it had done was pull a 2615L Bushhog 15Ft batwing cutter, about 70 hrs a year. To me it is a amazing tractor perfect for what I needed.
