The new ATF has all kinds of additives to make the clutch packs handle the HP , I used it too till I saw all the injectors I had to change at work , I changed thousands of them in Cat C15,s N14 and M11 Cummins and IH DT466 and DT570's , My farm there is not much top soil only 2 inch in places up to about 2ft then its hard pan and clay ,My little 65 will pull 3 or 4 times its weight , it pulls 3-16 MF 3pt plows like nothing , All my tractors have loaded tires witch helps

This has got a Perkins 540 cid V-8.Massey Ferguson put Perkin V-8s in their 1150,1155,2745,2770,2775,2800 and the 2805.MF put Cat V-8s in their 1500,1800,1505,18050 and Cummins VT903s V-8s in their 48800,4840,4880 and the 4900 4WD tractos

WOW my two MF's are great in snow and mud , I do run a fuel conditioner , The new ATF is not a good idea to use in fuel cause the friction modifiers that they add in there for the clutch packs ,I have seen it cause injector failure in some older tractors

Yeah they older MF are good on fuel I have 2 smaller ones a 65 Diesel and a 180 Diesel ,I rake hay and brush hogg with the 65 and tedd and plow snow with the 180 and put fuel in twice a year spring and fall and they are always about 1/2 empty at that time

What were these models like on the fuel ? Just recently read that its predecessor the 1150 drank about 9 US gallons per hour . Drank it like an alcoholic drinks the boze .

Nej det var ikke ved Farmerservice. det var ved Carsten Balle Lisbjerg. Han havde 2 mf 1200 og de 3 1155. og meget meget andet. Farmerservice har for tiden 9stk 1200 der kan køre og lige så mange 4880 og 4900 mfér. har lige været oppe og besøge dem :-) seje traktore mvh Kaj
