The big nob sets the 3pt depth. You set your toggle switch to the down position and turn the nob to the height you want. Then use the toggle switch to put it up and down and it will only go down to were you set it.

I have a massey ferguson 3050 with the same controles. The big left nob is for the auto depth control. The right big nob is for de manual depth control so to say. And the little nob controls the swiftness of the auto depth control thats for work such as plowing, when you set it on the little waves then is the correction Quick. When it is on the longer waves than is the correction slower for a smoofer resolt. When the tractor auto corrects you see that also in th two up and down Lights.

+Jan Kotze haha I must confess I turned down the background noise in my editing software so you could hear me talking better. It cuts out a lot of the engine noise. These cabs are very quiet though.

Whenever we ran into that it ended up being the computer needing replacing. But it could just be a wiring issue.

Hello Sir. I have a Massey 3060 with the same controls. I do have a pdf document in english that could be useful regarding the control panel. Basically the middle top knob is your draft control. The lower left one is to choose wether you have implements working above or below ground level, and the big one on the lower right sets your depth. If turned past 8 it will make the implement float. let me know if you want the pdf, and I'll mail it to you.

If it's anything like the 3050 there are two electronically controlled hydraulic valves under the tractor. We had the same issue with the computer and I ended up wiring the valves to a separate toggle switch just to get it working.

Well I had my 3070 10 months. It's a solid made tractor. It has the weight to handle situations a lot better then my John Deere 5320 cab loader tractor 2 wheel drive 18.4x28 rears. My MF 3070 also is a 2 wheel drive 18.4x34 rears tractor with a loader. Both tractors with fluid in the rear tires. The Massey will out weigh the Deere by at least 2,000 lbs and the Massey with much larger rear wheel and tires can pull itself out of a hang up situation much better then the Deere and can handle the round bales of hay on the front loader much better then the Deere in the mud. I really like the bigger tractor ride better also.

Have to be stopped to change I don’t think clutch has to be pressed. If it works sometimes then maybe switch or wiring is bad, usually if it doesn’t work at all it’s the computer that’s bad.
