Broke down on the Lynnway in the early 80s in an MG. A fair sized group of HA surrounded me. I thought I was dinner. 😂 A few approached my car. They were absolute gentlemen and helped me get my car home and invited me down to a party at their building. I have only wonderful things to say about them.

Unfortunately that wouldn't happen nowadays, but if you are affiliated with them, they do take care of their own. I'm in Minnesota and we have some 1%ers. All are respectable and I've had nothing but good things to say about the Angels or any of the 1%ers here. They aren't what the media portrays them

As I was thanking them for stopping and helping me I asked them why they stopped. I assume the man that spoke up was the leader and I quote him “ there are a lot of bad people in the world”.

absolutely I went to some of the club's parties in New Hampshire. it was always a good time these guys were good guys. they are no different from anyone else respect is all you need treat them the way you would treat anyone else. if you know you know. best live band I ever seen in person. the good old days.

the HA Lowell house was wild. as a kid we would ride our bikes by there it was a no-go zone at night. constant police in the area. crazy days. the 1980s 1990s was no joke in Lowell. if I remember it was Carter St Carter Ave.

I remember being a kid in the 80s and 90s and when they were riding in formation, cars would pull over and just let them pass through, every summer the city had this multicultural festival in DW Feilds park right we’re I grew up, one year some other crew showed up, but they showed up WAY DEEPER than those other guys and they fucked those dudes up for not checking in or something, I was younger, but fascinated, lol, they still got a big clubhouse now, I remember when there old one had a huge federal raid and they shut them down, at least they thought, they had another big building with a huge wall fast

Don’t forget. The first chapter of the HAs outside Cali was in Lowell in 1966. 2yrs before Lynn. The Bad Co known nation wide.

It was crazy when I was growing up in the 70's. We had the Tribesman club house up the street, the Lynchmen, and East Coast MFers all close by with the biggest club, the Sidewinder 20 miles away. My father was friends with Big Wally Lafrance Pres of Sidewinders, close friends with Jimmy Simmons Pres of ECMF. I used to go to the Tribesman club house with Dad. Later in life I would hang out wuth Wallys son, Walter. I member when Wally died of a heart attack and when Jimmy Simmons got beat almost to death. Crazy time as a young boy growing up.

They were a washed up 70's act, with local stories of them still heavily strung out on drugs etc. Joe Perry had left the band and rejoined. They still had clout in MA and a local audience, so I think they rented the Manning Bowl and hired the Hells Angels because they were near broke and nobody else would have them. My friend's mom picked us up in a station wagon as we walked past all the bikers. After Aerosmith's video with RUN DMC in 1986 it was a new day.

Been to a few outlaw parties in Taunton, crazy times 😂 nothing bad happened, give respect and you’re good. I also had a friend who lived right near the HA spot in wareham. Never partied with them but they definitely threw some bangers.

Grew up in Tauton Mass and it was all outlaws there.

You got to remember that was almost 15 yrs ago. Things might have change quite a bit since then. The way he told it, his wasn’t the only club “paying a tax”. He said every 99% club back then was paying a tax. I doubt if that is still going on, the Feds keep a tight eye on them. And I already said, I made a mistake, this happened in Connecticut not Mass.

The HA rode by my dad’s house in Lynn when he was a kid . They heard a loud bang and went outside to check what happened . It turned out that one of their helmets flew off and hit my grandparents house lol. They came back and apologized and were super respectful from what I heard . This was Lynn in the 60s-70s . I feel like everyone in mass has some kind of hells angels story .

In the Spring of 1979 I witnessed the pickup in front of me have an accident. This was on the Hopkinton edge of Milford. A car pulled out in front of the truck. The truck hit the car and went sideways to the left. It slid on the driver's side into the dark woods. I stopped immediately. My "friends" took off through the woods. I pulled a little girl,a woman and the male driver. The driver was an OG HA. I told him I knew the driver of the other vehicle. We had gone to school together. The HA told me he owed me a "solid". I asked him to forgive this drunken kid. No retaliation. Ten years later I attended a party with my old classl mates. This drunken kid was now a top insurance salesman. Wife,kids,dog,etc...The HA had kept his word. I told my classmate what I had done. We weren't friends but this kid needed help and I was able to help him. A man kept his promise to me and a kid turned his life around. Lord works in mysterious ways.

I remember 1 year in the mid 90s up during bike week HA's were walking down the strip surrounded by some prospect's and came across some Outlaws. Me and a few of my friends from Saugus watched the whole thing a fight broke out guns were pulled out and everyone started running. Within minutes the whole Weirs beach was shut down, all the vendors closed vans full of riot police showed up. Can't remember exactly what year it was maybe 95 96 but it was pretty insane.

@jasontrimmins8264 there's got to be something written on it, I know it wasn't 96 cause my best bud from Melrose got killed up there during bike week in 96, I think I went in 97 that was my ladt year going, but I'm pretty sure it was before that I don't even think they had started red and white fashions yet or had a booth yet. But ya it was pretty nuts

Also have a H.A. that lives a block up from me he has to be higher up cuz they go to his house all the time an he never rides by himself
