Ойын-сауық

After taking over Bay Colony Railroad operations on the Watuppa Branch MC sent over MC 2006 to run the trains. This video shows 2006 on the second Mass Coastal run down the Watuppa with some shots of the former BCLR power being moved around. Some shots around New Bedford, MA are also shown.

Please keep this railroad running for a long time. It's a part of our history.

@@EastBayTransit and we all know how inaccurate Wikipedia is. Some golf factory started in 1984 as per Seminole golf, actual literature, which I actually have.

It would be cool to have some locomotives in the old Bay Colony paint, just changing the words to Mass Coastal

What are the future plans for the mills road line. Has it been taken out of service. Or are there plans for upgrading it.😊😊😊😊😊

@@ruffian2952 The rails reach the Watuppa ponds right to the Westport/Fall River town line. From there it is a trail to Watuppa Yard.

@@SouthCoastRailVideos We used to get a thrill riding one of the trestles down there. It had a visible sag to the water line. The loaded potato cars added a unique stress to the track structure. Watuppa yard had a stationary derrick that was used into the 70's. Before I hired out I used to go to soccer games that were held by Portuguese clubs, French too, from around the area, at a field close to the yard. Standing room only. Great contests.
