This is amazing! A great example of how history can repeat itself. I remember reading this high school being like how can people ignore the outside world?? And then 10 years later, I live in that very scenario. Really makes you think about the choices you make (staying home versus going out to eat for dinner- is it really necessary?) and now I reason with the party people. Maybe they were trying to escape but there is none. And if I were to throw a party (you are all invited) don't be surprised if death/COVID slips in.

@@mc_lars And I am thinking of you as I work on an interview with one of Pat’s psychiatrists at Stanford. She is a wonderful, kind lady and very open about Pat, about suicide, and LGBT issues. It will be a good addition to the book.

This is the best song off of the album. Love the “ha ha!” during the chorus

Fresh Lars and Mega Ran on a Monday. Winning!

This was by far the best track on the album. Everything went right here. The mixing is incredible. Couldn’t do a better tribute to Edgar Allan Poe. Loved that there were three full length verses instead of the typical two. This was the song of the album. Both mega ran and mc Lars were fire here. This is a track instantly liked but still somehow grew on me. The production was just next level. I love the contradicting nature of mega ran and mc Lars characters in this song. Initially I thought this song was about the Great Gatsby, throwing a huge pretentious party. Mega ran and mc lars is better chemistry than run the jewels. I can’t see them making a song quite as brilliant as this one again, not because they doesn’t possess the talent but this little secret gem is unmatched on this album. Even “Walden” wouldn’t stand a chance and that’s a pretty dope song. This is a generational banger. I love the cadence here and conceptually it sorta reminds me of The Lost Emperor’s “Secret Wars” in its protagonist vs antagonist theme.
