The fruit wasnt an apple
@mc_lars18 күн бұрын
You're right, the Bible does not specifically identify the fruit in the Garden of Eden as an apple. In the Book of Genesis, it is referred to simply as the "fruit" from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. The relevant passages are found in Genesis 2:16-17 and Genesis 3:1-6. The association of the apple with the forbidden fruit likely comes from later Western Christian tradition. In Latin, the word "malus" can mean both "evil" and "apple," which may have led to this symbolic connection. While the Bible itself does not specify the type of fruit, this song leans into this version of the Latin interpretation.

This is amazing! I used to scoff at youtube's algorithmic recommendations and snootily stick to my curated subscriptions, but ever since I got bored enough to start scrolling through them, I've been pointed to so many new favourites. Lars and Ran, love you both, saw you in concert years back in Philly with mc chris! Lex, found you via the Firefox blog of all things, been a fan ever since! Most of the other names I'd either only seen in "featuring..." or were new to me entirely, and now I have a whole bunch of new artists to be a fan of: SkyBlew - your flow is incredible! Beefy - from one dad to another, loving the proud dad vibes, and happy Father's Day! Dinosaur, great bars and appreciate the important message too! Schaffer - looking dapper, and enjoyed the retrospective, consider me a fan! Frontalot - I'll admit your verse took a couple of listens to click for me, but damn, mad respect to anyone who can rhyme verbally, hyperbole, fleur-de-lis, certainly, internally and absurdity! Cracker - nice Python code, think you forgot to quote a string though! And last but not least, Former Fat Boys, great job tying the whole thing together, and also - it's a tiny thing, but I loved the interleaving of the "2" at the end of each chorus with the incoming artist's verses!

Some people believe that teaching with any means possible is to use forced memorization through repetition. But that tends to repel the student and make them hate the subject altogether. I believe that your approach to literature through music is brilliant and greatly underrated. By speaking to the students passions, you are allowing them to embrace the word and make it their own. If a fire is what drives a person, I am certain the fires of passion will get them farther than the fires of hate.
