Mason as our head QB from now on. The patience and tolerance and humble godly attitude he carried for this long. Pickett will have to learn off of him and learn to practice on humility and take a seat as back up.

Pickett is a great dude also don’t discount that smh. During that rain game against Baltimore Kenny went out of his way and got mason Rudolph a heater to warm him up on the sideline

@@JiluJuJu we just need Pickett's attitude to be right; we really need to balance their salaries immediately, or try to trade Pickett if he's not gonna accept the fact that Rudolph is the better QB, full stop. The salary and contract differences vs. their play is not a sustainable situation after this year - you have to right that wrong and pay Mason some back pay too if he gets us to the Bowl GAME!

@@pawpawbandit3871 I know it’s unpopular but I couldn’t disagree more my friend. Kenny pickett is a much better QB then mason and mason never had to play under Canada. Kenny’s ability to win in the clutch after things haven’t been going well all game is a huge sign of extremely strong mental strength. The reason I believe in kenny so much is because he’s really good at the hard stuff like clutch drives at the end of games, deep ball accuracy, out route accuracy, also he’s decently athletic. He just needs to stop bailing on good pockets and play more aggressively. I’m afraid yet very sure mason Rudolph is gonna turn back in to mason Rudolph against the bills. He hasn’t done anything special to tell me I should believe in him I honestly think most people are too easily impressed and have a recency bias (not only about mason, generally). When he got pressure in that ravens game he threw the ball up in the air like a unexperienced scared rookie would do and then fumbled the very next play. He also shoulda threw a really horrible pick earlier in the game. I don’t think it’s gonna end well with mason, I think Kenny is our only chance at having some type of shot but he won’t play so is what it is.

Well I agree it's way too early to give up on Pickett the way we prematurely gave up on Mason Rudolph. But as for their play this season, stats speak for themselves. Didn't Rudolph play under Canada as well? I thought so? Anyhew, Mason Rudolph is more talented than he got credit for. He never should have been 3rd string, and if we don't sign him, He'll probably end up at the browns or patriots or somewhere playing well.

That throw to Pickens was a fresh breath of confidence for Rudolph. By no means is he a flashy player, he just gets the job done. His only job is to get the ball to his playmakers and he does that well. Stays in the pocket, scans the field, and throws dimes.

I've been saying since 2019 that Mason Rudolph was a darn good quarterback. As a Steelers fan I can confirm that our fans have terrible short term memory. They totally forgot about his awesome 2019 highlights, his amazing finale of 20/20, and all they wanted to remember was a game against the Lions in 2021, with Canada as OC, and him only having one day notice that he was playing. And even in that game we fumbled away two possible field goal opportunities when he completed passes

@@hotwheelzvette959 It's frustrating because now he's unrestricted FA. If he wins or even plays well at Buffalo we have to make a move. My biggest concern about Kenny is his injuries. He has proven he can be clutch with 7 career game winning drives and he looked great post Canada at Cincinnati, and was 7 of 10 vs AZ, when at the goal line, when he got hurt. He's made all the throws

Some of Pickens catches at the sideline are nothing short of the Chinese Acrobats! Dude is incredible. Sign him for life now, at any cost; give him part ownership in the team. Johnson is also incredible. With these two and Rudolph practicing for another year; next season could also be a deep playoff run. Everybody needs to quit talking about other QBs, between Pickett and Rudolph, we'd be fine rotating them for injuries etc. for several years. As long as Pickett respects that Mason is probably more talented, and he wouldn't be starting over Rudolph anywhere else, either. And if Pickett isn't ok with rotating in, trade him immediately and pickup Tyson Bagent ASAP before he becomes the next Tom Brady.

Even if people still wanna argue that Pickett is better, I like Mason because our offense needs chunk plays & Mason has always thrown a really damn good deep ball. He’s unlikely to stay with us unfortunately. if he gets an offer from a team where he’s way more likely to start and/or will be paid more money… well then, why the would he want to stay?

It doesn’t matter what any of us say. You can see very clearly that the players (the ones that know) , want Mason. They play hard for him! They know a lot more than we do. Give Mason a chance at qb 1 next year. His receivers will do the rest. You won’t see Pickens standing in the end zone throwing a fit becyet again, one read, cowardly Pickett didn’t see him because he was afraid to stand in the pocket…. The receivers and other players k ow a coward when they see one.
