Better than lukaku at everything except headers and strength. But we all know lukaku is a shit target man and does not use his strength. Also it takes him 50 years to accelerate to his «fast speed» and that is if he even does a a single sprint in a game lol. Okey i guess greenwood is better in everything then haha. Gg lukaku

He's good, but try not to forget he is playing against youth level midfielders and defenders. Didn't you see how weak the challenges are, how they let him keep coming on, how they don't have strength to dispossess, how they don't show him on his right foot (which seems better)? He is no doubt good and should get some game time, but he's got to be better, especially be physically stronger without losing this speed, agility and skill to be a premier league regular.

Is he the only player in Football that takes free kicks with both legs.... Mind=Blown.... The only positive if we get Europa League next season is that this guy will play and show Lukaku and Rashford the levels

Lukaku has 200+ career goals and is top scorer of Belgium all by 25. 1 below par season doesn't change anything. So he won't be shown any "Levels"

I used to go to primary school with this kid, he was in the year below but lord almighty he was good, even back then. I never played football at the time because I was too busy being annoying elsewhere but everyone knew him for his sporting ability

This kid is special. Has a clinical edge to his play too. Can’t wait to se him get more game time next season

Forget Rashford, Martial and Lukaku, Greenwood has more technical ability then all of them combined

S_ Hussain4646 yeah I think in general his attitude has been questionable, Solskjaer said his attitude has been good which I’m really pleased about because I rate martial, but I’m sick of defending certain players and them proving me wrong time and time again. Martial has incredible ability and is the best finisher in our first team, but if he wasn’t so lazy he’d be a world class player and he’d be in the National team every single time, that’s what annoys me. There was that clip of him at the end of last season during a warm up for a game at OT and he’s just standing there doing nothing while everyone is warming up, Solskjaer wasn’t happy about that but if his attitude has improved (and he hasn’t looked lazy over this pre season tour) I’m happy. It’s just annoying because he’s much better than Rashford but Rashford will be picked over him because he runs more and works harder. It’s no secret that Mourinho wanted to sell him because of poor attitude, his ability was never in question. I guess you’re probably right about Masons and Martials technical ability being on the same level but Mason excels in a few more areas. The only reason Martial might never be world class is because he’s lazy and that’s more frustrating than anything

Sky is the limit for Mason, and with Ole at the wheel he will get his chances, hopefully even in our last game of the season, and next season is going to be his year. In terms of ability he is head and shoulders ahead of anybody in our attack through our whole club, we just need to have a little more patience so he can fullfill his talent.The only way is up!

The weight on his passes is absolutely spot on. Seasoned pros mess up those kind of passes game in game out. Also hi stature is so reminiscent of RvP. This guy needs to play, right forward there for him. Exciting.

Better than Rashford in scoring. More shoot technique and able to score by both feet. Good dribbling skill and good vision for passing the ball.

He's pretty much Van Persie and we know how much we loved that man. He has a natural finish and his link up play is superb.

Reminds of RVP but faster. Can tell he idolised him just from his shooting technique and dribbling ability and movement of the ball

I’m not even trolling but Rashford must be seriously worried. I think the more we see Mason blooded into the first team, and if he keeps scoring and playing well then Rashford will be criticised more and more by fans, I think he’ll feel more pressure to do spectacular things during games which will ultimately make him even more inconsistent and frustrating. Just my opinion though.

Wow what a great player, I've never seen anybody hit freekicks with both feet, let alone score using both. That is just crazy.

His performance already surprised me...but damn nothing surprising me more than seeing his powerful right foot from a left footed player :o

Greenwood is the most exciting player to come from the youth team in years and years . Both feet and lethal in front of goal , he’ll score buckets of goals for united if given the service . Maybe letting lukaku go and not replacing him and letting greenwood have plenty of games this season is ole’s thinking .

@@chibuikefrancis7581 I'm not a Liverpool supporter but Liverpool are going to be a top team for the foreseeable future and it's unlikely United will be. City and Liverpool will fight it out for the title next season. United might manage top four but only if Chelsea don't perform. Just how far United have fallen will only become clear a couple of months in and also depending on what happens to Pogba and whether they can sign a top centreback and midfielder, and that's going to be difficult with Thursday night football looming. At least the likes of Greenwood are guaranteed games in the Europa League which is probably United's only chance of silverware. Greenwood does look like a superstar in the making though, which would be great for England. If he continues to progress and United continue to flounder, I expect he'll have moved to a top team by the time he's 20.

Why do so many supposed United fans feel it necessary to deride their own players in order to big up a young prospect? Can we now expect to see Mason Greenwood trashed as soon as he hits a patch of poor form, and the fair-weather fans start pushing for the inclusion of the next promising youngster who hasn't yet played a minute of op-level competitive football? Get behind your team, that's what being a supporter is about.

The fact that he’s taking free kicks with both feet is mental, plus all the goals he’s been involved with. Whilst uniteds centre forwards offer nothing, united are built on giving youth a chance and I don’t see why he’s not getting his chance when he clearly shown he’s good enough. He can’t do any worse than rashford and lukaku so I don’t see why he shouldn’t play.

I also rate Greenwood and Gomes highly. Hopefully they will both be in the first team next season. As I see it; We are approaching rock bottom as a club, and it will take time to get us back where we belong. Getting highly talented youths up through the system is a really big and vital step towards our awakening.
