Chetna your recipes are too good. As we have lived in Kenya for a very long time, I enjoyed eating this khichu. With my Gujerati friends there. They also made another one with rice flour and moong flour, that too was very good,if you know the recipe then please share it with us.Thank you.

I absolutely love khichu, will try the rice u mentioned! Usually I eat this with an addition of roasted peanuts crushed and some lemon juice.. but thankyou for reminding me again how amazing and delicious Gujarati cuisine is!

Very nice and quick delicious recipe which is my favourite but I have never made it my friend used to send . Now I can make it myself thanks a lot.

I Love all your recipes...though I make only a few out of it...😛 Coz khichu and fafda all those recpies are considered quite tricky and you make them so easily and nicely...I am out of Gujarat now and miss these Gujarati dishes..just by looking at your recipes I feel like I am back home again...Loads of love...keep up the good work 😘😘😘

It is very easy and tasty indeed. I added some leftover shredded beet during the initial boiling process. Result was very good. Also, the rice flour tends to lump, even if trickled in. I used a hand held blender to break up the lumps.

I made it little bit hard becoz thats the way I like it.😋 Please easy lunch and dinner recipes for working women's. which requires less time.

Made it today and came out very well. As I make uppittu like this out of rava. I added grated coconut and topped with ghee. Awesome try it sometime. I think you can do this with ragi flour also. Like ragi mudde. Which is famous in our Karnataka.
