For my money these 2 were the best women in BSG. Not knockin anyone else but these 2 took their roles and perfected them.

Dang it KS, youve done it again. Mary Mac has a quiet power in her work that leaves me speechless, and Stands With A Fist is assuredly among the finest roles written in modern cinema. Can't wait to sit with this entire podcast. Zowie...and Thank You.

I watched dances with wolves as a small kid. I remember Mary McDonald and the wolf dying. So when Battlestar Galactica rolled around in 2003, I was like: oh shit! It's the girl from Dances with Wolves (and Donnie Darko's mom). I'd like to think Donnie's mom remembered the tangent universe, but only those who actually did wrong would remember. Not guilt for perceived wrongs. Long story short; too late: Mary McDonald and Eddie Olmos sold me on Battlestar Galactica. Seasons 3 and 4 solidified Starbuck as my favorite character. You did so fucking well, Katee Sackhoff, you really did.

What a beautiful, regal woman. She hasn't succumbed to having a physician ruin her beautiful, natural beauty. Katee's a treat too.

Movie makers nearly always watch the scenes that they filmed the day before to see if they got what they wanted, both technically and acting wise. Dailies is what directors and producers call them.

@@ueno1 Oooohhh I see. Tqvm for your insightful reply. I thought it was the "dailys", the newspaper dailys from the press / printed media or press conferences or releases. You know, the movie was filmed in the 90s. No internet & smartphones yet. But then I knew I wasn't correct because it didn't make sense to me. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
