I am a Third Order Dominican and chose Maria Magdalena as my religious name. I find her single-minded love of Jesus, her unwavering focus on Him so very attractive. I try to emulate that. I often also think of the interaction between the Mother of God and the Magdalene - I am sure, the Mother loved her in a very special way and taught her about Jesus.
