I'm sorry to say this, but I didn't know just how truly great MJB was. This song is amazing and I can't believe it. I have been missing her all this time. I've downloaded the album and have completely enjoyed it. Her voice is a true pleasure to listen to. What a classic sound. I've always found this song to be a bit hum-drum, but with her signing it I've grown to have it be a favorite.

I’m a fan of hers but I had no idea she had this range. I just liked that her voice is unique and her songs speak to me. But this song is really introducing me to a whole new Mary J. I can’t believe I’ve never heard it before. She’s multifaceted, I wish we could see this side of her as well as her more gritty style.

This song can be taken in 2 ways. A charming, careless tune about the child's favourite things that make them happy, or... a heartbreaking song about an unhappy child which recalls some nice memories to feel less sad for a while. Mary definitely goes the sad way and she nails it. That's the most touching rendition of this timeless classic.

I must admit that i've always hated this song, but listening to MJB and her pure angelic voice, i found myself shedding tears. He delivery and what she did with this song, is one of many reasons why i love her ❤

Girl same. I was like well damn MJB got REAL vocals. This is so enchanting, haunting and the way she extends her breath to hold notes and add dimension is beautiful. She has honed her craft and the end product is just stunning. So blown away by this cover.

This video was done very tastefully and she was very elegant and classy! It show that MJB has matured since the "411". I am very proud of her. I am in my 50's and I remember Julie,Barbara, & other artist who have sung this song and I also loved their versions. She just did it her way and there is nothing wrong with that! You Go Girl!!!!

What a heavenly voice!

First let me say I love Mary J's voice. There is a soul to her and in her that is unmatched by singers of today, HOWEVER, this is a whimsical song about things that make a person HAPPY so the look on her face as she sang it leaves a lot to be desired. Other than that, it was very well done.
