This is one of the BEST R and B moments of all time. They were in a real-life relationship, young, successful, and sang it out in front of all of us!!

Despite what they were going through at the time (drugs), the talent they possess was undeniable!! Just like Bobby & Whitney , I loved them together! I remember when this performance came out how much everybody backlashed them. I was young then but I just thought they were talented. It wasn't until a few years later I learned about their trouble with substance and physical abuse. I was like damn! But I love me some them! But I know that sometimes just cause it looks good, it isn't always that way.

Evelyn Garrett Yes I agree!! Music was at its best in the 90s, R&B for that matter! This was the golden years. I loved that both Mary & K-Ci were 2 talented individuals doing their thang! Way before all the so called couples now, despite their struggles, possessed ''Talent''! Sometimes the goody goods bore the hell out of me! I hope to someday meet them both too.

She loved him so much at this point, I felt sorry for her. Things were different for him. This makes me miss my very first boyfriend, I think we played this a million times.

Mary was gorgeous. The makeup, hair, outfit...perfection. Ghetto Fab. I won't even discuss the voice and performance.

I agree. You could see the love she had for him in that performance as well as many others. I think they were both caught up in the fame and they both were involved in drug usage at the time which contributed to the turmoil. Also, he supposedly proposed to her but then try to squash it and dissed her in an interview saying it wasn't true. She said she felt hurt and betrayed. But I noticed that big fluctuation in her weight during that time and remember those pregnancy rumors as well.

Mary is heartbroken 😞 Thankfully she's come through every storm stronger and better. Unbreakable beautiful black woman
