This is MTV unplugged. The modern day equivalent is NPR tiny desk concerts. Jodeci didn't have all instruments in regular concerts. They'd have drums and DeVante would bring out his piano for certain songs. They used a DJ for the rest of the songs.

K-ci was such a cutie with his short self!🥰 They all were easy on the eyes . The ONLY male group where all of the members were attractive.

This is really a beautiful song. The performance is an all time great. K-ci was on top of his game. Listen to the clarity the control and emotion in his voice with little effort. Looking at this video you can tell that Mary loved K-Ci more than he did her. Check the body language. She was all touchy feely....He was singing to the crowd mostly...she was singing to HIM!!!! Can't remember though was this at the beginning of their relationship or towards the end...Maybe he didn't want anyone to know they were fooling around. If they continued to make music together... The first power couple. People wanted to know the real deal about them but they kept their mouths so tight lipped. KC is just now talking about the relationship. The streets (NYC) was talking back then that KC and Mary were a couple and media tried asking Mary and KC about it and got cursed out because Mary is very,very private and she don't take favor with people getting in her business but that's a true New Yorker for you unless you're Janet Jackson because we know she's the Queen of privacy. Plus, it was talk back then that KC and Mary had a baby and we heard they would fight a lot because Mary was so jealous. Now, they both are in a good place in their lives, so I'm happy for them both but I think they will always love each other.
